- We take a crack at relaunching WWE's reiteration of ECW! Using WWE 2K24's Universe Mode. In hopes of delivering a product that doesn't suck, we will see what could have happened had Kurt Angle never left ECW, amongst other potential superstars that never panned out, while maintaining qualities that made this brand.. "unique" like in 2006.

2006 WWE ECW had so much potencial as a less Extreme ECW with a good booking but Vince said no...🤷♂️

This weird 2005-06 WWECW version of ECW was… interesting; it had potential - but it was not the [Paul] Heyman vision of extreme. That PPV that closed 2006, December to Dismember, was utter rubbish. Bloody hell! What a disastrous show that was; it nearly killed ECW’s ‘revival’, halting its prospect.

Love the fact that you included Gangrel as Thorns partner! That was actually supposed to be a thing on ECW at the time, but didn't happen. I'd have put a Tag Team Championship on ECW and later put a midcard title on the show as well.

I really like the booking of this! especially the hardcore title being a midcard title on the show! I used to say i wish they brought it back during the ecw era. RVD, Angle and Punk holding the ecw world title legitimizes the belt way more than in real life, Vince, Show and Lashley holding it.

Marcus Cor Von will definitely be part. He debuted in February 2007, he was one of my favorites on the whole brand so he’s gonna be around for a while. 😎
