Red Bull relocated four of the world's top free runners from their urban turf to the place where parkour got its start: the great outdoors.
Obstacles abound as far as the eye can see along the turquoise waters and elephant sized rocks of the Verzasca Valley in Switzerland - making it the perfect parkour playground.

"we don't affect this planet very much" we certainly have a huge impact!
damn those memories
Nature is the only place I’ve done parkour and I’ve done it since a kid
i think its brilliant what u guys are doing..i go out and near where i live there is beautiful rocks along a river...trees..and loads more, i wud rather train there sometimes than in my town with walls etc ...only people who have trained with nature can know the full experience of it.. u think differently about each step and jump..and u ultimately move differently in your environment...this is what parkour is all about to me.
Wow, Awesome! I jumped off that bridge while going to high school in Switzerland (TASIS The American School in Switzerland). I can't believe he is doing back flips on it. It was so far down! Much further then it looks and the water was freezing.
when you're doing parkour in nature; it is the most free you will ever feel.
Ninja is the first word that comes to mind when watching this.
What a beautiful place.
The earth has gone through harsher times and still bounced back plenty of times. I'm not saying we are not effecting it at all. But nature eventually takes over everything.
Woow, redbull really takes it to the next level. What do they promote again? Oh yeah, the drink..
I lived there for 2 years, but I didn't know that they would come..
@redbull I love you guys.
Still watching this in 2018 hopefully one day i'll join the Art of Motion
god i just the quality, its so freakin good. rebull always has good quality
Thanks for the quality
I've had the pleasure of meeting with Ryan Doyle myself. He's not a "tard". His philosophy on all topics like life's lessons and parkour are profound and deep on multiple levels. He doesn't have time in a video that's only 4:02 long to explain every fundamental base to his philosophy on things. Not to mention that he has no say in what footage of the interview is used. He's a brilliant person.
I don't believe you guys, nowadays in every parkour video there are people insulting, that annoys the crap out of me! Everyone has a different style and way to live parkour, that's the beauty of it!! I've been reading these comments and there are people talking about what Doyle said about living life to its full potential, if he feels that, it's really good for him!! I even saw comments talking about zephyr's god damn tail!! It doesn't have anything to do with you!! It's his own style!!
I dont understand..... this vid deserve SO fucking much more views!!!
0:22 i can finally do that :D never give up :D
0:22
its interesting to see so many opinions from people other than just traceurs for a change.
Loved it.
wow.. that makes me wanna go to switzerland just do freerun
That was great. And Redbull is my hero for that comment haha :D
Such a beautiful video.
Yeah, I've never imagined it could be this cool... gotta organize an event there, if only i still made parkour...
what is the paino song playing, its beautiful
@cooooop100 I found it! It's called Dropped Lollypop inst. by Chris Ballew, but Idk where to download it.
What's next Red Bull? Tractor tire changing competitions?
Where do they get the music for these commercials? It's always so moving
This we know: the earth does not belong to man, man belongs to the earth. All things are connected like the blood that unites us all. Man did not weave the web of life, he is merely a strand in it. Whatever he does to the web, he does to himself.
-Chief Seattle
If we destroy nature, what we destroy is ourselves. I guarantee there will still be mountains and rivers on earth long after there are humans.
He's right, we think we affect this planet more than we actually do to be honest.
i'm lovin' it, this is pure beauty
I've been there, beautiful place.
Does anyone know the name of the song at 0:40? I know I'm not the first to ask what this particular song is. I have been searching everywhere for it. I even contacted Red Bull. They said it was Chris Ballew and that it was released on Pump Audio, but it's nowhere to be found. Any ideas? Fantastic film though, really.
we really don´t affect this planet very much???
yeah i love Ryan but he was kinda wrong this time
He was saying that we dont effect it individually
***** and space we've taken,
erik wahl he means the world as a whole. if you looked from space at the world thousands of years ago and now you would need to look very closely to see differences.
Oh but yes we fucking do mate
i hope it takes over soon ;)
FYI: that Red Bull advert. is most likely post production, done with video editing software or Photoshop.
This is beyond amazing!
who else used to jump around on the big rocks at beaches when they were little?
LOL! I even have been in that verzasca village u showed at the beginning but I didn't see this awesome river and I didn't even think a second about parkouring on this place :O
Switzerland
What was the RedBull comment???!
Lol your verified now, back then you were just a rando
@xxdtox People nowdays complain that their life sucks... He broke his leg very seriously and didn't give up parkour... that's living the life for real!! So why do you have to hate a guy who has better will to live than most!?
2:22 there is a redbull sign on the rock hahaha
Fantastic nature lovin' it sooooo much
the dude's got a goddamn tail y'all
We do affect this planet!
Coranado springs resort at disney world is a great place to freerun.
@zingpowww MTBike companies use that paint. It heavy in clay and dies in the seasons. It's environmental impact is actually on par with a rotting leaf.
nature is beautiful isnt it?
dudes @ redbull, u shure do make my day with all those comments :)
sieteee deiii grandiiiiiii
You know, I don't give a fuck who sponsored this, it's a damn well done video. propsss
yeah i'm actually thinking about starting to train again, hope to decide myself :D
I learned to Parkour/Run in nature i prefer it much more tbh
Its so freaking beautiful
HAHAAH WTF IS THE TAIL GUY DOING "Ey guyz luk at meh!!!!¨i can make a 360 spin on rock YAAAAY"WTF xD
0:32 guy on the far right.
because the whole scene here in southern switzerland had stopped, there were only little kids and i didn't want to stay with em cause they were like "yeah we do parkour so we have swag bro!!!" and i didn't like it... and also because i had to train the drums :D
omg! its a saiyan doing parkour! xD
don't observe nature's beauty... harmonize with it....
i wish i could go there
amazing..
I'm watching this while drinking a redbull
damn i loove this video
bro teach me ur philosophy and skills , ur amazing , congrats
Freerunning is STYLE parkour is GET THERE AS QUICK AS POSSIBLE.
@PKnSTUFF
parkour to improve strength and other qualities essential to be a good traceur.. So flips aren't parkour, but it can help you develope good sense of awareness while your in the air..
@DarksasukeFFXI
Nah mate. Parkour is strictly Point A to Point B.
David Belle just states that even though movements such as "Precision jumps" won't be much use in a real chase, you should still practice it to have control over your jump. You can practice both parkour+freerunning so definition doesn't matter in a way..
wowowow...nice work :X
parkour life !
great !
great video!! gotta love movement!!
@ohhroach Yes you do! You just haven't found them yet ;)
veeery niiiiice!!!!!!
living life to itz fullest by flipping xD
@PKnSTUFF
SO yes I guess in a way parkour is more of a workout for me..
Can you truly have fun while doing parkour when no one trains it with you? The only time I find it fun is when I show off :L.
But getting up your ego is a great way to have fun..
SO I can sorta claim I do parkour for fun, right?
sick stuff
Wait, are they holding a competition on this run?
People gotta stop hating on red bull. I'd drink a red bull on camera so I can get paid to do what I love. Though, I gotta say, we still distinguish freerunning and parkour for a reason. I wish they'd just stick to freerunning if that's all their doing
correction at the end there: we do effect this country very much
I LIKE TURTLES
man I'd love to go there!
awesome video!
@daMhiika trademark thing zephyr has had now for maybe 2 years ^^ (another trademark thing is his way of shaving). there might very well be a deeper meaning put into the tail as well, but this i cannot know of
that tail guy's beardshave is fucking awesome
sweet!
awesome
@inofen I think "Bringing it back to nature" refers to most parkour nowadays is in completely urban settings and done on man made structures. So they are bringing it back to natural terrain or "Nature" as some would call it. But you have a phd in parkour so who am I to offer my opinion
3:53 "we don't affect nature" LOL
Too much Redbull....
Awesome, honestly i love parkour, although my friends repel and hate and make fun of it and think that it is not a sport and it is idiotic and stupid and honestly ive had to lie to my friends, and say that i quit and hell i dont see why people hate pakour so much! I
@inofen if you want to bring parkour to the masses, you have to make flips, otherwise nobody would think " WEll that´s amazing" even though they don´t know what parkour is.
Thank you for saying that, do you know of any groups or videos for people interested in puritan parkour? I get tired of people doing flips and shit but i cant seem to find any decent parkour without those aspects.
Today I was there, I practiced Parkour (you know withOUT flips ;) ) barefoot and I dived from 4m high into the cold water... 10°C :)
Beautiful :)
i swear Ryan Doyle could be a philosipher
@xxdtox well, i believe he is actually making perfect scence ...a normal person will walk down the street passing by walls and points of opertunity ..as a tracuer will look at his envirionment and see its full potential ..seaking something to gain from it....a physical gain , a mental gain etc this therefore means that the person is living in that moment...living life to its full potential of what it has to offer.
does the tail give him extra balance?
@PKnSTUFF
but your right... Pretty much every traceur does flips from time to time or have experimented with tricks.
My last comment seems rude..yes I know :(.
Also there is a new david belle commercial that came out.. His definition is still to move across obstacles the most efficiently. BUT he also stated that it's okay to do movements that are 'useless' such as the precision jump to have more control in your jumps.. Which could apply to learning a lot of movements that aren't strictly
Actually we do effect this planet quite alot
3:56 someones got to do that pre :O
3:56
i think it helps with balance
