Have you had any issues with this? Like the valve stem popping out if the pressure gets too high? Thinking of doing this to my raft and want to save the hassle of taking off the barrels to re-inflate them
I havent had issues....aslong as you drill the correct size hole for the stem you buy. My test barrel is holding 5 psi from when i made this video.5 psi is too much psi.at 1 psi the ends start to bulge out,i goto 2 psi max.on a hot day it reached 3 psi,cool days down to 1 psi......but no colapse since adding valve stems and 1.5-2 psi on a 75f day. When temps change so does the pressure in your sealed barrels.

Are you gonna fill them up with helium? I recommend doing that. Awesome working on that, and I could’ve helped out with camera angles bro. 😂
