Google has updated the Pixel Buds Pro app with the new Conversation Detection feature. It's a big improvement on the Samsung Galaxy Buds2 Pro 'Voice Detection' because it actually pauses playback while you talk: ruclips.net/user/shorts2osHbJweAIo?feature=share
The 2 things keeping the Galaxy Buds2 Pro from being PERFECT are the lack of multipoint and the battery life. I have both of these and find myself using the Pixel Buds more because of these 2 things. The auto switch feature on Galaxy devices is funny and unreliable.
I was using my Buds Pro a lot of watching movies and TV shows using a Google TV and didn't notice any delay (syncing sound effects, speech, etc.). I just double-checked using RUclips on my phone as I don't recall any delayed video to the audio and can happily report there's no lag.
@SriSri-fo2je They both seem fine for calls to me, although I don't make too many calls while using buds. There are some RUclips videos that go into greater detail, regarding call quality.
I'd have to say very similar based on my very unscientific tests during phone calls. I usually spend long calls with family members and ask them if I can be heard clearly and using both earbuds solicits positive feedback. Both earbuds use piezoelectric accelerometers to isolate your voice from background noise and so I've been able to hold phone calls without any frustrations. I cover off the feature a bit more in my older Pixel Buds Pro video here: ruclips.net/video/GuAQlfFy1C0/видео.htmlsi=SQ9VQLBvjEMnmUK4&t=199
That's very true on purpose. Sound is so subjective that unless the quality is terrible, I'm able to give my personal impression of the quality but it might be very different for you. Ultimately I think they are very similar bar the slightly better noise cancelling on the Pixel Buds Pro.
In the video I cover off that the Buds2 Pro uses a long press to control volume and the left is volume is down and right controls volume up. Tapping will play/pause. However, with the controls on the Pixel Buds are even more convenient with volume control by swiping (super fast and responsive) and you can do it on both earbuds which is also very convenient. ruclips.net/video/TeQVfqxsvAI/видео.htmlsi=Eb3AHsCWh1q4YJt3&t=203
@@HowToDoItTech You can control volume on the Galaxy buds in a different way too. Go to the app, earbud settings, and then 'Labs'. Here you can switch on a setting that will let you increase or decrease the volume by tapping twice on the edge of the earbud (or tapping your ear works too) twice.
The good news is that the upcoming update for the Google Buds Pro will include my favourite Buds2 Pro feature: Automatic noise-canceling switching when you speak. I haven't had the update myself but do mention it's coming in the video.

How is the audio delay now on pixle buds? A year ago it was really bad and i couldn't consider the earbuds.

Taping the inner side of the ear will increase decrease the volume of galaxy buds 2 pro just have a check again
Okay, I'll check it out. Cheers!
I have both. They are both feature packed, but for me, the music quality on the galaxy's is far superior.
Which one do you prefer for phone calls? Thanks.

Microphone quality? Similar? Or much better on Google? Or Samsung? Thanks.

You forgot to mention the audio quality

😂
You can change it so that when you tap your ear you can raise/lower volume

I've never been able to get it to work consistently. I don't think I have the magic touch!
Google released new updates on pixel buds pro, thoughts post that?

i heard that update upgrades like the double band width will only work with pixel 8 wich would be a shame@@HowToDoItTech
Hi there! I finally got around to making a video about the best feature: Conversation Detection - ruclips.net/user/shorts2osHbJweAIo?feature=share
