I don't care how many times I say this , your property is gorgeous and so organised, look at the view from the garden of the house with your garden arch , it beautiful
Anthony I have hot coffee in the summer as well!! But occasionally I have ice coffee !! Do upu think I could put that special earth on a blackberry bush? I do have some of that because I was taking it in a special drink for my breast cancer!! Thanks for sharing!! ❤ Mamma Carolyn
My water here in Oklahoma is the same way!! Yall watch out for kidney stones, kidney infections, and last but not least bladder infections !the water can give them bad!
I agree with you about the coffee Ant. I find the hot drink in the body makes it so the heat outside the body doesn't bother you as much. God Bless from your Canadian Friend.
We had a really hot day on Saturday and it burnt the leaves on my one black cherry cherry tomato plant. But the stem is still green and I’m hoping it’ll come back. I love black cherry cherry tomatoes. My garden didn’t get planted this year because I couldn’t find anybody to put a fence up for me and I’m not capable of doing it myself as I’m 79.. I will try to do what I can by myself, but I do miss the fresh veggies and I do have some volunteer tomato plants in the garden which may do something. But there’s so many deer around here it’s not worth planting without having a fence up.
Good morning Rox and Anthony, love love your channel. Regarding your well water, the problem is that you did not down far enough. If you go down to at least 500 feet with a layer of rocks to filter the sand, you will get clean, clear water. So before you purchase another filter I’d respectfully advise you to consult with another drill company regarding going down to 500 feet. Have a wonderful day today.
Anthony you seem so much happier after you started doing gardening/greenhouse. Usually I see stress about having so much to do. Now you can relax more with the wind in your hair. DREAMS come true. I enjoyed watching you since you were working on the camper in Vegas.
Inexpendive 6 or 8ft bamboo or other wood poles stake in next to tomatos or center of tomato cages then tie main stem up on on stake. Then if more support needed tie rope from stake to stake a row every foot or so and weave plants thru. Also pruning lower branches helps. I put washed whole cherry tomatoes in freezer in ziploc bag then add a bag to crockpot chili.
Have you tried smoking the squash bugs out, bugs hate the smoke. When they come from under the leaves soak then with water to help wash them of the leaves. Orange and grapefruit smells are good for getting rid of bugs, they can't stand the citrus. A citrus vape might be just what you need. ( No joke).
Hello Ant and Rox, garden looks good plus those healthy vegetables you are harvesting. Anthony did you get out bike riding with Tim and David? 👍👍❤️❤️🇨🇦
Indeterminate tomatoes grow forever. They need a tall trellis or fence. I have a 16' x 5' cattle or hog panel with 8' metal t-post put up for tomatoes. I ordered plant clips in different sizes to hold my tomatoe vines along the fence. Those are giant red cherry tomatoes. We call them poppers, cause that is how we eat them. Fast snack as we walk by. Or a garden snack as we are working in the garden. Love your green house. Be safe and keep hydrated, coffee counts.
Volunteers are the best. 1st they are free 2nd they have adapted to your climate so they should do way better...Squash bugs..the only i found to work in Ks.. Nemia oil...i already have large pumkins..(God started them in the garden...anything volunteer is God planting :)...) my squash bugs are little to none..i have never had this result....hope it helps 😊
🌻suggestion for next season... till along that back fence, then plant lots of sunflower seeds. Bet lots will come up and perform like the ones around your water spigot.
I grew up with well water and know exactly what you mean by the rust. 😅Try feeding your tomatoes and peppers cal-mag to combat the blossom end rot. It helps greatly.
Those sunflowers are chocolate, something i have the same ones planted this year. They really are pretty. Ant, we dug a whole new well. The first one was on an iron plate, we moved it over 50 ft, dug it 250ft, now its great water. But i wanted to say, i got all the red out of our tubs shower walls and toilets with just the mr clean magic erasers. After trying so many things and scrubbing, We was shocked how easy the eraser got it all off.
Stay hydrated you all got some scorching hot weather this week. Up here (Saskatchewan Canada ) our hottest this week is 72 . We have had a cold spring, hopefully it will warm up for summer here. Be safe out there 🫶🇨🇦
You too have a wonderful week can't wait to see the new project on your building for the summer can I see the garden is coming along it looks beautiful hope you all have a wonderful week and God bless you all ❤️
MI is also very hot. Inside my place kitty is panting from the heat. I put a cold pop out & kitty curled around it to cool down & licked the droplets of water running down the sides of the can. Smart kitty.
Good morning. Please plant marigolds near the plants that the squash bugs have been attacking. it will help some. The bugs don't like the scent of marigolds Love you guys
We have a well water also. We use Iron Out to clean our sink and toilet. We have a water softener that uses salt and use Iron Out in that. It does help. You can get it at hardware stores or Walmart.
The humidity is what makes the heat so unbearable.. it took me forever be able to half way be able to tolerate it.. I originally was from Oregon before moving to Arkansas after he got out of the service.. The squash bugs seem to be getting worse every year..
The gaint and the bean stock! Sorry Ant was standing by the tall sunflower. Awe yall aren't old enough to know about the book gaint and bean stock. I'm still laughing. Thanks I really needed the laugh.
Maybe next year try a different variety of squash. Maybe the bugs won’t be so susceptible to a different variety. There are different varieties of zucchini. I love gray zucchini . I have seeds that I didn’t get planted and will try next year for round zucchini. And there’s yellow zucchini keep trying different varieties that you find.
Usually volunteer plants don't produce very good fruit, but those tomatoes look better than some you plant. Cherry tomatoes are ok but I love a good acidic tomato. Roxanne has such a green thumb. Good job girl.
Looks like you’re going to have plenty of tomatoes. I love cherry tomatoes sautéed in garlic and olive oil until they can be smashed down and served over pasta. It’s delicious. Can’t wait to see what ones cross pollinated. Maybe cherry-romas ?
There's another homesteader the fit farmer he has the same tomatoes and it shows how to thin them out will they have a string they keep them separated so they can grow
You can do it without a dedicated sand filter go find you some round magnets that will fit inside a 2" PVC pipe make sure the magnets have a circle hole in them place a 4"section of 1-1/4" PVC inside of 2" once in place drop a magnet inside and let rest on 1-1/4" repeat till you have all magnets inside of it put an elbow at each end pointed upward then add standing pipe to elbows with a outward connection and fill it with filter and at the end of the 2" pipe sand add threaded connection for flushing and or sand replcement stand this erect and feed the water from the bottom up through the magnets and sand will eliminate iron cheaper alternative to high dollar sand filler setup good luck hope you try it
hi, that black sunflower you have is called " chocolate sunflower " i think it could be called " red wave sunflower " allso but if you ask me then i would say that the black one is chocolate sunflower. hope this helps :)
Heyyyy. Hint, if you want to hurry your tomatoes pick em green then put them dry into a paper sack in a dry dark place. They'll turn red soon, within a couple weeks and you won't have to worry about bugs. Love you guys. Take care.
Roxanne, have you ever tried Sevendust on your plant? My mother used it and her garden it won’t hurt your animals if they get into it I put it on a little kitten that had fleas on it. It was dying, but I didn’t put it on there anyway, and then by the next day, the kitten was better and frisky. I would try the seven dust. But if you have something better, I disregard this.
I was wondering, if you took a couple of your chickens and put them in your garden area, would they eat the squash bugs or eat the veggies?? Just a thought! Tc from Nevada

When I plant my tomatoes in the whole, I put lime fertilizer and Epson salt and I don’t ever have problems with bottom, right
What a beautiful garden, greenhouse, and property. So well organized and convenient to your home. Have a great day! ❤❤❤❤❤
I agree with you about the coffee Ant. I find the hot drink in the body makes it so the heat outside the body doesn't bother you as much. God Bless from your Canadian Friend.
Greetings from Northeast Ohio. Tomatoes can also ripen in the dark. But your cherry tomatoes and a brown lunch bag. You will be surprised.
Make sure you save some seeds from the dark red sunflower so you can grow it again next year if you want to
CARROTS L❤️VE TOMATOES!!! 🥰❤️❤️❤️🇨🇦🇨🇦🇨🇦
Super hot here today in Alabama as well. Stay safe in this heat

I love you kitties! Have had cats for 40+ years. Black ones are my favorites.
I finally broke down and bought some tomato blossom set. Going to spray everything.
Anthony you seem so much happier after you started doing gardening/greenhouse. Usually I see stress about having so much to do. Now you can relax more with the wind in your hair. DREAMS come true. I enjoyed watching you since you were working on the camper in Vegas.
You two have built up a beautiful homestead!
Inexpendive 6 or 8ft bamboo or other wood poles stake in next to tomatos or center of tomato cages then tie main stem up on on stake. Then if more support needed tie rope from stake to stake a row every foot or so and weave plants thru. Also pruning lower branches helps.

Hello Roxane & Anthony 🤗 The garden looks so nice - love the Sunflowers 🌻 The greenhouse will ve so nice 🙂
Keep cool, thanks for the updates.
I grew up with well water and know exactly what you mean by the rust. 😅Try feeding your tomatoes and peppers cal-mag to combat the blossom end rot. It helps greatly.
Be sure to check your pumpkins for squash bugs too. They are a type of squash also.
Those sunflowers are chocolate, something i have the same ones planted this year. They really are pretty.

Have you considered pruning those tomato plants, especially the volunteers where your carrots are?😊
We had very rusty water too. But we got a double tank softener, and cleared it right up. (Rain soft)
100 degrees here..hot!

MI is also very hot. Inside my place kitty is panting from the heat. I put a cold pop out & kitty curled around it to cool down & licked the droplets of water running down the sides of the can. Smart kitty.

Love watching the channel!
On your tomato plants you can thin those out to where other plants can grow like your carrots
We have a well water also. We use Iron Out to clean our sink and toilet. We have a water softener that uses salt and use Iron Out in that. It does help. You can get it at hardware stores or Walmart.
My app says the sunflower is Ring Of Fire. 🔥
You could use the greenhouse for some of the stuff from the pole building.
Clean appliances with bar keeper's friend or Cameo cleanser which works best on my porcelain sinks and toilets. Our well is not so bad.
Rox plant some marigolds with your plants. That will get rid of the bugs!
I love cherry tomatoes, I'm the only one that eats them right off the vine and they're so sweet! Yum!
The green tomato chutney I could make!!!!
It was 102 here in Turlock California today that is hot
The humidity is what makes the heat so unbearable.. it took me forever be able to half way be able to tolerate it.. I originally was from Oregon before moving to Arkansas after he got out of the service..
The squash bugs seem to be getting worse every year..
I remember my dad installed a water softener for our water. I don't remember much about it. I don't think we had a well.
News 7 dust just put around the bottom of the plant. Are you could use spray and spray the whole plant
On the Tomatillo I seen some small seedlings that is connected from main stalk and branch or leaves
The gaint and the bean stock! Sorry Ant was standing by the tall sunflower. Awe yall aren't old enough to know about the book gaint and bean stock. I'm still laughing. Thanks I really needed the laugh.
In Pennsylvania we have iron in out our well water
✌💗💗🤗

your cool sunflowers the dark ones are Mexican sunflowers.
You might use cattle panels and tie your tomatoes to them as the grow.. the Romas make good sauce and salsa..
Tks for video. Much love to ya.
Hot coffee is my drink of choice whatever the weather.
So far not squash bugs here in nebraska....
Usually volunteer plants don't produce very good fruit, but those tomatoes look better than some you plant. Cherry tomatoes are ok but I love a good acidic tomato. Roxanne has such a green thumb. Good job girl.

but if you ask me then i would say that the black one is chocolate sunflower.
hope this helps :)
Maybe those little tomatoes are little bing tomato, little bigger than cherry tomato 🍅 😊
So frustrating. I'm wondering if it's your soil. Crazy. So sorry folks.
I agree that stuff really works. Unfortunately you have to keep applying it when it rains.
Heyyyy. Hint, if you want to hurry your tomatoes pick em green then put them dry into a paper sack in a dry dark place. They'll turn red soon, within a couple weeks and you won't have to worry about bugs. Love you guys. Take care.

Hey every one

You can never have too many Tomatoes!
Hi Roxanne from UK, please would you tell me what you sprinkled on your pla ts to get rid of your squash bugs, i couldn't tell what you said.
Rox what is that tattoo on your upper arm? Love your show. Would like more cooking.
7 dust
Hope all goes well with the sand filter. It is not pleasant to have the browning of toilets, etc.
