Always enjoy the videos. It's amazing how much the SLC has been refined over the last 10 years. It's really coming into it's own as a supercar Especially your builds!! The detail is impressive. Getting the interior to look high quality and minimal, and the shifter and of course all the body updates. I'm so in love

Wow. What a beautiful car. I'd love more start to finish videos. You need a camera man and editor. Beautiful work. I'd love to see 1 of your cars in person
You do a phenomenal job with these cars. What an amazing job to have! I have been considering this and the Ultima Evo for quite some time. I must admit I have had a bit of difficulty pulling the trigger and actually jumping into it. I have had some issues with the Ultima, and frankly am a bit apprehensive about buying a kit made in another country, and then having to rely on them to not only get the material to me, but also warranty issues. About a year ago I first noticed the SLC, and frankly like the looks of the car much more than the Ultima. There are quite a few things that I like about the SLC, but I must admit the sheer amount of fiberglass cutting and carving with these kits, is a little off putting to me. I have restored a few cars in my time, one of them being a 1957 corvette, and realized quickly how much I hate working with fiberglass! Guess it’s time to call the factory and ask some questions. Keep up the beautiful work!
To do an AWD version of any SLC would require significant front end modifications and a much different driveline than what most people put in. There really isn't room unless you raise the hood significantly.
Looking in to a right hand version to bring back to the UK . Have you built many uk spec cars at all. Also this another awsome build I'm still in live with the white Pearl build and the lairy green build .
I'm currently saving towards getting an slc. I'm so glad the front hood on this one was modified. I've been thinking that the front hood on slc's seemed a bit too flat and empty. My only other big problem is the rear. The rest of the car looks exotic while the back looks a bit strange. (the very back where the brake lights are)
Excellent built,, one of the best I have seen among, Ultima, Warp V, and SLC,,, qustions" What is the Trany? Does enough Air goes inside of the engine compartment in to keep cool? At 70 MPH what is the engine RPM? What is the fuel economy at 70 MPH, and size of the fuel tank?
Thanks, the trans-axle is a Graziano. There's enough air flow in the engine bay and temps stay where they are supposed to be. 2300 rpm gives 75 in sixth gear. About 16 mpg at a steady 70 mph, tank is 18 gallons.
I have rethought the designe of the SLC. Carbonfiber intergrated body plus airfoiles. All facits of the skin are multy spectrum deflecting angels. Looking like a F117 fighter bomber. I know you have said before that an SLC build can go from 90-140k on average. Does that take in to account the price of the kit from SLC? How many orders do you take a year? How long do builds usually take?
I hope this isn't too stupid, but do SLCs have a spare tire? I'd hate to be a long ways from home, get a flat, and have to rely the on whatever tow truck was available t handle an SLC.
How hard is it to get traction? I would think with such a low weight, a High RPM lower torque engine would be better , your engine makes 500ftlbs at 1500 rpm and up

The car looks amazing and unique! I am trying to decide if it is worth the money it costs to have one built. For $150K you can buy an Audi R8 V10 with very low miles, get factory warranty, have a lot of modern technology and have interior that looks fantastic, have maintenance and mechanical support from the dealership and have supercar performance! Aslo, SLC cars look great but I am yet to see any videos of the cars performance on the track... Horsepower means nothing unless the car beats the opposition on the track. I honestly am trying to understand why this is a good investment. I have been following the market on some of the kit cars from Factory 5 as well, and it seems that the cars lose a lot of value when they are sold. All the cars for sale are way below the cost of production and not to mention the work hours that go into making one. Am I the only one who thinks like this?
No. Most people think this way. These cars are for people who want something unique that they can work on themselves. These cars are more or less throw backs to the original Ford GT40. They don't want to deal with the complexity of an R8. They want to drive a mid engine car with an American V8 that they can service by themselves. SLC kit cars are built custom for the owner so their aftermarket value is going to be limited.
This is a for a person with disposable income to build something they want exactly. Most of these guys probably already have that Audi or Lambo in the garage. They probably want a track car that they can put miles on and the engine is bullet proof and the maintenance cost is low. A oil change on that engine is 150 bucks on something else that can track like that it would be 10x that. Plus nothing is going to track like that thing at 2500 pounds curb weight and 700 hp. Don't think of it as a car, but more as a toy for the rich guy who wants to be able to work on it himself.
