Thanks for another walk around. Love seeing all the new features like the tilt tail and interior upholstery. Always admire the fit and finish of your builds. Great work!
Great build, love the engine bay and tail. Incidentally, I once did a quick rendering in Photoshop what an SL-C would look like with side vent increased in size oughly to what you did on this car. Much better. I always found those small intake vents a weak spot in the SL-C design.
How hard do you think it would be to do a C8 Z06's engine with a dual clutch in one of these SLCs? Every build I've seen is manual, not dual clutch... Beautiful build too!
While that flat-plane crank motor would be amazing, I'd just settle for a DTC in this, the GTM, the Ultima RS, etc. It really is the one thing in these home built super cars that is really missing from a modern supercar driving experience. Sure, fancy interiors and such are missing too but if all you care about is the actual driving experience, a DTC is needed. (This of course doesn't apply to the , need a manual or its no fun crowd. We aint talking flappy-paddle shifters here, a good DTC is the supercar experience for me!)
I just wish these were in range of $60k so it is some what affordable for me at least 😜. I am into this particular car because of shape. Otherwise, I can see why it costs as much it does for sure it's worth it for folks who love race car type of driving. Awesome looking car!!!!
Again - you must be very proud of the work you do. Such a great finished product! Thanks SO much for sharing. Question(s): what do you have as a personal car & do you want an SLC or some similar custom car for you?
r Through the years I've built myself a Cobra, GTM, GT40, SL-C and a GT-R. They are all over the country now and I've been looking for a different build for myself. Would love just to design and build something completely different.
It's actually the only GT-R kit out there. There's many GT40 replica kits out there but no one else has copied the Robertson Race team's wide body 2005 Ford GT
Can you put paddle shift on these with detachable racing wheel like F1? They should partner with you and make production cars …your work going back years is great … imagine you had 100 mill to develop a car sheesh USA would finally be on the map because the F5 ain’t going do it!!
@@zakari3030 how much for the entire kit without the engine now? Still $51k (from superlite website, not sure if old price). Would love to put a Toyota Supra 2JZ in it.
Hey pal, Love your work as a former mechanic. You have so many talents and incredible patience to be doing this. Do you have a website with your woyk portfolio and some basic pricing for your work? I'm sure it is very different from one car to the next and the customization.
You must nearly build these slc in your sleep after 30 of them I reckon, do you still enjoy building them? I like the colour combination with the carbon fibre, how much on average do they weigh? The power to weight of this one must be neck snapping.
Please explain to me why anyone would buy a Lamborghini or Ferrari which will break down all the time over buying one of these from a hand crafted by a builder or shop for even less money.
*HERES SOME* service(sort term and long term, some shops wont work on kit suspercars) , resale value , accessibility of parts , warranty(u will be out of pocket on everything) , insurance and insurance rates ,brand notoriety , eas of purchase("x brand has x amount of dealerships in my area") , no waiting for someone to build it , don't have to be mechanically inclined to own (any problems pop up you can take it to x amout of dealerships anytime you want, possible for no charge if under warranty)
When you see those 20000km warranty on a brand new Ferrari Lamborghini etc and hear about the servicing costs replacing parts costs… that tells me that it’s overpriced unreliable, it’s expensive jewellery.
So would like to see a tutorial for building one of these beautiful cars you build i live in Honolulu Hawaii Oahu i have only seen a factory five cobra and kne of there others cars never seen a super lite but would like to be the first one to have it built due to the fact that i am not that mechanically inclined good father son project but i want to drive it daily something for me like a lifetime achievement type of thing but not so far fetched as the other exotics i love this one been interested in this car a long time and would love to get one finally called the company and they sent me an email. @@N4CR If you can build one in 300-400 hours its probably going to fall apart. The product you see here is a quality build that is built by one of the top builders in the component car community.
That thing would be pretty fast with just a naturally aspirated Ford Coyote engine, with some smooth exhaust, of course. I wonder if anyone has ever done one like that?
Carbon Fibre Tub ???? Is that correct 🤔 if so !!! Its something that Ultima in the UK 🇬🇧 should offer as an upgrade . See some very very touches in this Vehicle 👌 😅 Definitely loose the rear wing . Another option please . This wing is OK 👍 4 the track 👣 but everyday Nah . Pretty sure another version & better design should be employed in this area.
Another masterpiece from Allen. Can’t wait until it’s my turn to get my SLC built.
What engine & color are you going with?
I’ve been wanting one for a few years / gotta finish getting the kids through college first.
How do I contact Allen?
i am really grateful to be a part of the zakari fam......ppl dont understand what they are missing out ....... great job sir
How does one go about joining the family?? Hope all is well on your end.
That's a particularly nice specced build Allan. One of my favourites so far. Love your work.
Thanks

Why is not information listed about the cost of each car and how to get on the wait list?
top notch craftsmanship!
One day i will have enough cash and you are going to build me the greatest slc ever.
I love what you do
I saw another builder move the radiator and cool fans for frunk, space. Thats a good idea
Absolute work of art! I wonder what the build wait is including the wait to even start the build. Cheers all, stay safe.

i need one of these cars

Is there an option for all wheel drive? Wanting to buy one and do all wheel drive with a twin turbo 5 or 6 rotary engine
Have you heard of David Mazzei and his 5 rotor he's putting in a SLC?

if you don't mind me asking what the price is for a standard build?
I’m curious about this as well because I’ve been thinking about buying one but don’t have the time to build it myself
Would like to know how to get in contact with you for a build?
Allan, how does one commission a build from you?
Do you have any pictures of the SLC billet nose hinges?
