    Just wanted to point out that although interfacial polymerization has a greater tolerance for unequal stoichiometry, it still works best when it's equal.

    What are the concentrations of the two reagents or how much did you weight? (HDMA and seba)

      Here is a similar procedure: studylib.net/doc/7519795/synthesis-of-nylon-6--10-from-interfacial-polymerization It is important to have a base to neutralize the HCl generated from the reaction.

      I think hexamerhylene diamine, adipoly chloride, water, and cyclo hexane, could be wrong though

      Not very strong. After washing and drying the polymer is a white, thin and somewhat brittle material.

      also the chemicals are toxic and deadly if handled by the wrong hands
