I've been trying to get back into reading- hence the amount of short but gripping books- its just been better for healing my relationship with reading. it's a lot bette rnow and im getting back into the swing of things. trying to work my way up to priory! I used to think 800 page books were short, but now im just proud of myself for being able to read 450 page books. it's weird how that works. Still I adore the unbroken very much and I appreciated Shadow of the bat- both of them recognised something inside of me.

beautiful world where are you is my fav book of the year which I read in April and it gave me the best time of my life and the memory of me listening to that book while cycling around in my idle town and going home and underlining my fav quotes and stuff is the best memory that is present inside of my brain I have never been the same person after reading it and i just I can't I mean let's just say the book marked the end of an era of my life 💯

I wish I had read 10 books this year. I only read 4 novels and 3 manga volumes this year so a slow reading year for me this year. I’m wanting to read intentionally now but i also want to make sure I read every day cos there were definitely days where I didn’t read books and was just reading fanfics/webtoon comics and watching RUclips videos instead 😅 hopefully if I can get out of these habits and read more novels/manga volumes I should have a higher number of books by the end of next year. Let’s hope so anyway 🤞😅

This year I mostly reread books I've enjoyed in the past (like the folk of the air, aftg, the lockwood&co series and the raven cycle) because I needed the serotonin boost they were sure to give me, but one new read I fell in love with was Dark Rise by C.S. Pacat, master of slow burn, that left me with the MOST ILLEGAL cliffhanger waiting for the sequel
AFTG LET’S GOOOOOO i also reread a lot of favorites this year because I needed a reminder of why I love reading so much 🥹💗🫶 you best believe AFTG and folk of the air series were one of the ones I reread 🥰
Normal people is one of my favourite reads, and THAT ENDING! I am proudly looking at my edition of The Starless sea on my book case waiting to be read, the end papers are beautiful so glad I got the hard back. Absolutely loved your list xx

I have a question for those that have read the Cassandra Clare books. So if I wanted to read Chain of Iron (not sure which is the 1st), what order should I read the series? I’ve heard of the Infernal Devices and in the video she talks about the Shadow Hunters. i have 0 clue how to start.
If you want to read The Last Hours (so, Chain of Gold, Chain of Iron and Chain of Thorns!) you should read The Infernal Devices first (Clockwork Angel, Clockwork Prince and Clockwork Princess!)

I've been trying to get back into reading- hence the amount of short but gripping books- its just been better for healing my relationship with reading. it's a lot bette rnow and im getting back into the swing of things. trying to work my way up to priory! I used to think 800 page books were short, but now im just proud of myself for being able to read 450 page books. it's weird how that works. Still I adore the unbroken very much and I appreciated Shadow of the bat- both of them recognised something inside of me.

beautiful world where are you is my fav book of the year which I read in April and it gave me the best time of my life and the memory of me listening to that book while cycling around in my idle town and going home and underlining my fav quotes and stuff is the best memory that is present inside of my brain I have never been the same person after reading it and i just I can't I mean let's just say the book marked the end of an era of my life 💯

I wish I had read 10 books this year. I only read 4 novels and 3 manga volumes this year so a slow reading year for me this year. I’m wanting to read intentionally now but i also want to make sure I read every day cos there were definitely days where I didn’t read books and was just reading fanfics/webtoon comics and watching RUclips videos instead 😅 hopefully if I can get out of these habits and read more novels/manga volumes I should have a higher number of books by the end of next year. Let’s hope so anyway 🤞😅

I've been so curious about the starless sea for months now. How can it be so beloved and so hated? Does it have a "plot" like The Night Circus (a beautiful atmospheric book I really enjoyed) ?
Everyone has different reading tastes! Not everyone vibes with the whimsical writing or the character driven story, but I definitely did 🥰

This year I mostly reread books I've enjoyed in the past (like the folk of the air, aftg, the lockwood&co series and the raven cycle) because I needed the serotonin boost they were sure to give me, but one new read I fell in love with was Dark Rise by C.S. Pacat, master of slow burn, that left me with the MOST ILLEGAL cliffhanger waiting for the sequel
AFTG LET’S GOOOOOO i also reread a lot of favorites this year because I needed a reminder of why I love reading so much 🥹💗🫶 you best believe AFTG and folk of the air series were one of the ones I reread 🥰
Normal people is one of my favourite reads, and THAT ENDING! I am proudly looking at my edition of The Starless sea on my book case waiting to be read, the end papers are beautiful so glad I got the hard back. Absolutely loved your list xx

I have a question for those that have read the Cassandra Clare books. So if I wanted to read Chain of Iron (not sure which is the 1st), what order should I read the series? I’ve heard of the Infernal Devices and in the video she talks about the Shadow Hunters. i have 0 clue how to start.
If you want to read The Last Hours (so, Chain of Gold, Chain of Iron and Chain of Thorns!) you should read The Infernal Devices first (Clockwork Angel, Clockwork Prince and Clockwork Princess!)
