¡Hola Isabella! 1. ¡Feliz navidad! • If We Were Villains. • A Far Wilder Magic. • The Hating Game. 💯

Top 3 books of the year 1. The Unbroken 2. shadow of the bat 3. Where the drowned girls go. I've been trying to get back into reading- hence the amount of short but gripping books- its just been better for healing my relationship with reading. it's a lot bette rnow and im getting back into the swing of things. trying to work my way up to priory! I used to think 800 page books were short, but now im just proud of myself for being able to read 450 page books. it's weird how that works. Still I adore the unbroken very much and I appreciated Shadow of the bat- both of them recognised something inside of me.
Normal people is one of my favourite reads, and THAT ENDING! I am proudly looking at my edition of The Starless sea on my book case waiting to be read, the end papers are beautiful so glad I got the hard back. Absolutely loved your list xx
I’m so envious of the fact that u can rank your top books omg when I *struggle* my girl… also the fact that quite a few of those books are still on my shelf/ tbr……… readings bellas faves readathon??????? Edit: LUKOV WAS IN MARCH?!?!?!??!? But yes queen Mariana belongs on that list (yes, kulti too) Btw I was just waiting for book lovers to be mentioned like… where TF is it? Didn’t expect it to be this high up girly !!!!! But same!!!! (Glitch being their song is so so so so so so valid and right?) Alone with you??????? 😭 why did u remind me this book exists…. Time to go back to my depression cave I also read that shortly after you left so it hit so hard? just no
I wish I had read 10 books this year. I only read 4 novels and 3 manga volumes this year so a slow reading year for me this year. I’m wanting to read intentionally now but i also want to make sure I read every day cos there were definitely days where I didn’t read books and was just reading fanfics/webtoon comics and watching RUclips videos instead 😅 hopefully if I can get out of these habits and read more novels/manga volumes I should have a higher number of books by the end of next year. Let’s hope so anyway 🤞😅
Sometimes you won’t have time to read every day and that’s okay!! as long as you keep the habit alive and focus on reading good books you’re doing amazing 🥹💗🫶

honestly im surprised to see from Lukov with Love on your list. I've contemplated reading it a few times because I've read quite a few of Mariana Zapata's books, and for me its very hit or miss. I enjoyed The Wall of Winnipig and Me, but i couldn't stand Under Locke. I'll have to check out from Lukov with Love if it made your top 10! For reference i read about 237 books (mix of physical and ebooks) as of writing this (hoping to add a few more before the 1st), and my top 3 were the Crescent City Series, From Blood and Ash series (totally didn't expect it to live up to the hype, and Broken Bonds Series. **the takeaway here is that im a sucker for a good and well written soul sucking character attachment series** though i have to say some honorable mentions are the invisible life of addie larue & these violent delights
Under Locke is definitely one of Zapata’s most problematic books as well as Rhythm, Chord and Malykhin; but Lukov is fantastic imo 🥲💗 I’m so happy to see Addie Larue in your list even if it’s only an honorable mention 😭🥰
you should definetly read Conversations with Friends by Sally Rooney. I loved the book and its romance. The book portrays the difficulty of having female friends. Definetly recommend.
For someone who didn't like The Night Circus, do you guys think Starless Sea would be a good choice? I have been interested in it since it came out, but I was so hesitant since I didn't enjoy The Night Circus at all 🙈 I really need to read Babel asap though!! 💕

¡Hola Isabella!
1. ¡Feliz navidad!
• If We Were Villains.
• A Far Wilder Magic.
• The Hating Game.
💯

Top 3 books of the year
1. The Unbroken
2. shadow of the bat
I hope you love the starless sea!!
The perfect Christmas gift, a new video 😭❤️❤️
I’m so envious of the fact that u can rank your top books omg when I *struggle* my girl… also the fact that quite a few of those books are still on my shelf/ tbr……… readings bellas faves readathon???????
Edit: LUKOV WAS IN MARCH?!?!?!??!?
But yes queen Mariana belongs on that list (yes, kulti too)
Btw I was just waiting for book lovers to be mentioned like… where TF is it? Didn’t expect it to be this high up girly !!!!! But same!!!! (Glitch being their song is so so so so so so valid and right?)
Alone with you??????? 😭 why did u remind me this book exists…. Time to go back to my depression cave
I also read that shortly after you left so it hit so hard? just no
Merry christmas y'all
merry christmas!! 💚❤️💚
My top two were From Lukov & Book Lovers, happy to see them on your list too!

I only have 4 favourites lol the first 3 were my only 5stars but tbf I only got through 30 books.. some of them were heartstopper and aftg though so I don't count those in my favourites bc they're rereads and obviously they were 5stars too but yeah

beautiful world where are you is my fav book of the year which I read in April and it gave me the best time of my life and the memory of me listening to that book while cycling around in my idle town and going home and underlining my fav quotes and stuff is the best memory that is present inside of my brain I have never been the same person after reading it and i just I can't I mean let's just say the book marked the end of an era of my life 💯
you make me more excited to read Babel and Starless Sea ❤💯
💯💯💯 this video is something else!! i enjoyed it so much and just hearing you talk about your favorite books always makes me smile😌

I hope you love all of them!! I cant wait to hear which ones end up being your favorites 🥹🫶
love your energy in this video!! so exciting😂
I decided not to continue reading "Normal People" because of you. Sometimes I value my mental health and I KNOW this book could destroy me.
Thank you for your service 🙏🏽😅
My top 10
- Oyasumi Punpun 4, 5, 6 y 7
- Carol
- In an Absent Dream
- Castle in the Air
- We Can Remember It for You Wholesale
- Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep?
- This is How You Lose the Time War
💯/💯
I have no clue what my favourite book this year is, but I’ve been really enjoying reading Atonement By Ian McEwan for my English literature studies- I’m obsessed. Can't wait to watch the film too 💯
I will have to look for that book in 2023 👀✍️
Lol i read this right before the movie was aired and when i tell you i had to start at page 1 again after i finished reading the last page 😅 I was sooo obsessed and even more with the film and how they shot it ..hope you had a fun journey!🥰
@@bubblesful68 unfortunately, the whole thing was spoiled before I could finish it and so I never got the full reading experience of a first-time read, and it honestly bothers me so much. 😭 I blame my teacher lmao. But I still love it; it’s such a well-written and beautifully executed novel that I definitely plan on rereading.
@@rea6667 Awwww So so sorry to hear this 😭
I CANT BELIEVE I’M THIS EARLY TO A VIDEO ILYYYYSMMMMMM❤️❤️❤️💗
💯% so excited to read Babel next year! Should it be my first book of 2023?
YES

Yess Normal People making the cut! Love Love Love Starless Sea ♡
My top books included Bunny, If We Were Villians and Jonathan Strange and Mr Norrell 💯
I want to read if we were villains in 2023!!
@@throneofpages eeep cant wait to see what you think!
I'm glad my mom died is on my wish list! I have heard a lot of great things about it! And I'm waiting for the Demon Slayer anime to continue bc the animation is just awesome😍 From lukov with love is on my wish list and babel on my tbr!💯
Book Lovers and Babel are my top two!!
honestly im surprised to see from Lukov with Love on your list.
**the takeaway here is that im a sucker for a good and well written soul sucking character attachment series**
though i have to say some honorable mentions are the invisible life of addie larue & these violent delights
Under Locke is definitely one of Zapata’s most problematic books as well as Rhythm, Chord and Malykhin; but Lukov is fantastic imo 🥲💗 I’m so happy to see Addie Larue in your list even if it’s only an honorable mention 😭🥰
Now I’m more excited to read Babel 💯
you should definetly read Conversations with Friends by Sally Rooney. I loved the book and its romance. The book portrays the difficulty of having female friends. Definetly recommend.
I read it earlier this year!! I prefer the tv show 🙈
For someone who didn't like The Night Circus, do you guys think Starless Sea would be a good choice? I have been interested in it since it came out, but I was so hesitant since I didn't enjoy The Night Circus at all 🙈
I really need to read Babel asap though!! 💕
If you don’t like the night circus because of the pacing, the writing or the characters then you probably won’t like the starless sea 😭😭
@@throneofpages I personally kind of liked the Night Circus because of its writing, but didnt love it because I had a really hard time connecting with the characters- Is that easier in The Starless Sea? Because Ive really been wanting to read that book!!
i also finished demon slayer this year and i was SOBBING so much while reading it😭😭😭 it was so good everything abt it was just amazing💔
RIGHT 😭😭😭
YAYYY NEW ISA VIDEO!!!
You look super cute🥺💋 we've so many similar top favorites this year! Luv you sm💗💯
Thank you!! 🥹💗🫶
🍂we say thank you to every single one of these ten books 🙌
🍂no because Bella talking about books she loves>>>
🍂unfortunately I didn’t find books that go up to my all-time favorites list in 2022 (except maybe Frankenstein), BUT i read some great ones nonetheless 😇
💯
FRANKENSTEIN 🥹💗🫶
💯% i love your channel, i wish i could buy me a book of those.. Keep going!
your hairstyle is so beautiful
💯 merry christmas 🎄❤
omg bella, if I told you that I haven't read any of these books, would you believe me? but next year I'll solve that hahaha I'm really looking forward to reading babel!!!
I do believe you but hopefully this won’t be true once 2023 comes around 👀👀
@@throneofpages and i'll start to read mariana zapata too!!!
❄️I absolutely loved the video and you made me want to read babel!❄️
Definitely read babel 😭🖤
I want to read so bad Babel just for you and the things that you said, it's in my tbr I hope read it soon, love u 💯
I hope you get to it soon 🥹💗🫶
i get emotional remembering that i'd always look forward to your monthly book recaps since february😭❤
🥺💗
Me too girl, 2020 was boring and 2021 was even more because at least in 2020 we have the pandemic and everybody saying things about it but 2022 feel so eternal but at the same time what happen?
Yes exactly!!!
My top 5 books this year 💯:
1. The Mistborn trilogy
2. The Poppy War trilogy
3. The Locked Tombs series
4. Empire of the Vampire
5. Into the Drowning Deep
The poppy war being in your top books >>>>>>
💯Could you maybe share your tabbing system, like what colour means what, for Babel if it's not too private? I really want to read and annotate it, but struggle with coming up with my tabbing systems :/. Btw your videos are always such a highlight for me, I always love seeing that you uploaded one🥺♡
Thank you 🥹💗🫶
For Babel I actually didn’t follow an annotation system I just sort of underlined any and everything I wanted and put a tab on it so i could flip to it; but there’s not any specific color for a specific theme or anything!!
Okay I'm not a huge fan of romance (tbh I think I just hate the artstyle on most romance covers) but you are making me reconsider...
