    Thanks for this. I want to do the same, namely keep my home office especially my monitors running during 4 hr loadshedding. Could you share more details about the device you have, where you purchased it etc.

    Hello there
    I have a similar setup, but mine is two separate units.
    Firstly I have an pure sine wave inverter/gel battery combination (1000w)
    Secondly, I feed the power from there to a 2000VA line interactive UPS.
    This set me back about R12k.
    I run the following from it:
    Laptop
    Small desktop (400W)
    3 x 27" monitors
    All devices stay on during load shedding and power dips.
    It lasts without issues during Stage 6 load shedding. (4 hours).
    I have not tested beyond that, but I estimate about 8 hours.
