HI Please could you advise on the Luxpower SNA 5000 paired with a 5kwh Dyness battery. 6x 450w solar panels. I would like to know if this could run a 3kw Geyser element? Stove and kettle are on gas. As you've said the Deye 8kw system with 10kw Battery are overkill? I was also advised that the Deye is a better inverter compared to the Lux Power. Due to the Lux power registering faults. I was told the Lux power is an Offgrid inverter? What are your thoughts on this setup?

it's better to oversize than to undersize you won't enjoy the system and eventually hate solar systems and even advice others that solar systems are crap. therefore, oversizing is cool

Your consumption is very high compared to mine. I only do around 10 to 15kWh per day. Gas stove. A+++ fridge and freezer. 2kw element in the geyser on a timer from 11am to 3pm. LED lights throughout the house. 2 occupants. My setup is 5 kw luxpower into 2 dyness A4800. Panels are 2 x 5 strings of Qsolar 580W. My import this month due to overcast or rainy conditions has been around 5kw but normally it is 0. Thanks for your videos, they are very informative

Please could you show your dosing pump, from the dosing tank whats the make up and what your dosing rate is ? Im using 200ppm SodaAsh , but dosing manually when filling up from wellpoint to tank.

On semi-cloudy days you'd wish you had more panels. Over paneling isn't a bad thing and having backup battery power available for at least 3 days without the sun is also nice-to-haves which will become ideal if you want to go completely off-grid.

Deye & Sunsynk is the same hardware, the software is different. What huge loads do they have so they can use them, moreso during the day. In winter or rainy months, they’ll not need to worry about Loadshedding. Is the house split to Essentials & non-essentials?

Why do you not use solar to heat your boilers? You could have used PVT panels to heat your boilers and heat the house by floorheating from the solar boilers too. Even the winters un SA have plenty of sunshine. (Been there)

i blew my ac port by passthrough powering a 1500watt ac unit. when i unplugged it from the wall it blew that fuse. so now im stuck with slow charging via the xt60 port. i bought a ac to cigarette port cord so i can charge it in my house. just takes like 6 hours.

I have Sunsynk 5.32 battery with inverter and 2.4 kw panels, only issue I have is the mobile app is absolutely crap, read the comments on both Android and IOS, this company should not be able to get away with it in my view, unable to really see what I generate in power and where it goes.
