    Johnny Cash was a great talent, but his story of redemption is what I always appreciated most. He got derailed, did some bad stuff, but he got straight with God.

    I've been a Johnnie Cash fan since I was 10 and 1st heard "Ring of Fire" on the radio. His
    Greatest Hits CD is still one of my favorites. So many great songs. Thanks again Trey. You were lucky to have known them all.

    Fun fact: According to his widow, Luther Perkins hated Tennessee Flattop Box because he didn’t play lead in it.

    • @mariowildner5874
      @mariowildner5874 3 года назад

      Bob Wootton told me in 1992 that Johnny Cash never could play Tennessee Flat Top Box before 1969 in his concerts because Luther Perkins wasn‘t able to play the guitar licks of this song.

      @@mariowildner5874 but off course Bob did it. Then in 88, Jim Soldi took over.
