- In the late 1990s, the Finnish Navy began to modernise the mobility and equipment of coastal defence forces. Marine Alutech Oy Ab designed and developed the WATERCAT M12, a new type of troop carrier for the Finnish Marines for landing and transportation purposes in all weather conditions.
The water jet system gives the boat excellent manoeuvrability and can stop almost within one boat’s length from full ahead. An essential advantage in coastal use is that the bottom of the boat is perfectly smooth, enabling the boat to operate in very shallow waters safely.
Would love to see these videos in 720p... or even 480p... or 360p...
Chris Johnston seems like they didn't have that kind of technology in 2013...

I like the layout of the M12 over CB90. Also I prefer less gadgets and accessories seemingly piled on CB90.
I wouldn't mind having one of these on the lake, good for all seasons looks nice an warm in the winter ... can it troll and does it come with a depth finder that can identify fish?
I think maintenance and cost are a little bit too expensive for normal everyday use.
is this the one with podnos? etc kuul
now slap a stabilized bushmaster / .50 cal mounting on it
How about a 120mm breech loading mortar?

can it be fitted with weapons?
There are weapons inside. Finnish troops.
And they are bad.
yes, there is a place for a machine gun on the back deck
Kapal penjaga pantai ini.
Stupid river boats
You sound like an idiot.
This can't be used in high seas
Zak جوال البدوي Doesn't need to, it's going to be carried by larger ships until they get close then they would deploy these to land troops. That's why it's called "fast landing craft" not "high seas troop transport".
It can be used in high seas.... but why would you bother when It can be transported there on a ship designed for the high seas.
