I've been contemplating about this dillema for a while, mostly because a digital piano would allow me to be more classical and it would be awesome for composing, aesthetics, and the overall feel of playing is better. However, a keyboard would give me versatlity, and the flexibility to play any instrument sound in one. So yeah, Im leaning more towards digital piano right now. Theres a middle ground, but the closer you get to it, the higher the prices get
I have a Yamaha XF7 and it’s a joy to use. Most professionals choose them but other brands are good too. Find the right one for you and discover a world of sound and adventure.
Keyboard is for regular piano players. A real piano is for a professional classical pianist. To acquire classical piano technique requires a real piano.
In order to master the piano you will need to play on a real piano. Classical pieces can be played everywhere. If you are playing on a digital piano(the right one),you will just need to adapt your playing on the real thing which is much easier compared to theguy who starts from nothing on an acoustic piano.
so, your rooting towards the Key Board, which I have no issue about. we have our own Key Board with weighted keys, it's a Casio (something)-8000 (something) (something). but theres something just about the sound of a real piano, than the recording of one, and played on a Key board. Good video though
My keyboard doesn't feel like a real piano when I play on it, and it doesn't have peddles, and it doesn't have 88 keys. It sucks and I can only play basic songs that dont sound as good because the sound doesn't vibrate. But my parents wont buy me a real piano so I have to wait till I grow up. Until then, the crappy keyboard is all I have.
Atleast you have something, dont be selfish. Do you have any clue how expensive a piano is? When you're an adult with your own money, then you can buy yourself one.
I am wanting to practise keyboard to eventually learn to play piano I played keyboard in high school and kinda remember a few songs already for me a keyboard will be perfect to learn with I only have a small apartment and it wouldn't fit a full sized piano at least with a keyboard i can mount it onto a foldable stand and it can all be packed away nicely afterwards 😀 piano will only be for if I go to places such as church or some train stations etc have them which we can play ▶️. But I think I will practise on keyboard for a few years first 😀. Im very very very rusty . I remember my music teacher saying something to me about the main difference is the keys and the pedal on a piano ! A keyboard can have various amounts of keys they can also have the same amount of keys of a piano! The main difference really is the pedal on the piano in my opinion. I could use both piano and keyboard in high school using the same keys and it would sound similar but I found that when playing classical the school halls piano would sound better! So I do think if your more of a classical music player then a piano would be better for that ! But then I've not played in over 15 years lol 😆 😂. So I wouldnt know have a lot to learn and catch up with im ordering a yamaha keyboard 😅 very good reviews and its what I played on in high school for me to begin with I will use the abcd etc key stickers or color tabs to make things more easier and simpler until I learn the keys by heart ❤ 😊
how is it if i want to practice a song on a keyboard which is made on a piano, becouse i have not 88 keys and if try to copy hes finger movement i just need to go on higher or lower tones
This is all nonsense. You can easily buy a digital piano that cost far more than most acoustic pianos (especially Chinese made uprights). Also, my stage piano has 3 continuous damping pedals.
Always remember we must repent of our sins (sin is transgression The Law Of Yahuah The Father in Heaven. The Law are The Books: Genesis, Exodus, Leviticus, Numbers, & Deuteronomy). When I hear a piano (or keyboard) being played, most times I want to dive in and learn how to make such beautiful music.
Amazing instrument.
Do it
then do it
As a noob, i used to think it's the same thing.

What if you want to play classical pieces, but can't afford a piano 🥺?

Keyboard is for musical production and choirs.
But piano is for orvhestra and musical learning
1:14 that sounds similar to just the way you are by Billy Joel

A normal piano is so much better.

I can assure you that my Kawai MP11SE (a stage piano) has three continuous damper optical pedals.
thanks
Great video!!
What is a Piano? - It is a keyboard.
Wow this video was really well made
So what's the difference? I was so lost haha
Digital piano's are for pianists and keyboards are more for fun

Piano keys are much heavier will wear out tendons and bring on arthritis much much sooner than keyboard notes
