  • Today I replaced the spark plugs on my 10th gen Civic.
    It's the same process for each engine type.
    Get correct parts for engine type from auto stores.
    Spark Plug Torque is 16ft lb as specified by the manufacturer. (all engines)
    Ignition Coil Bolt Torque is 8.7ft lb as specified by the manufacturer. (all engines)
    14mm spark plug socket was purchased from Canadian Tire (also available online)
    Adjustable Torque wrench was purchased at Princess Auto (also available online)
