People keep saying that stopping the war will bring the hostages home. Yet, there was no war when the hostages were taken and no hostages have been taken since the war. The truth is, when Israel stands down her army, horrific things happen to her. Stay strong Israel.
Stopping the war only gives the Palestinians (Hamas ) a chance to recoup and regain a foothold which is their thought pattern ; waiting for their enemies to step back and possibly appear worn down gives them their chance, Israel must keep strong and stay the course despite what many believe to be their version of how things are done.
To end the war does not mean that Israel will have peace!
to defeat hamas ensures future incursions. Isreal has made their problem with hamas bigger. Thousands of youth will be standing in line to join one of the nine islamic militias that are operating today alongside hamas. Not to mention the arab countries supporting the palestinians. The Houthi's, Iraqi islamic militias, Syrian islamic militias, Iran's backing of the palestinians in gaza, now Turkey sanctioning all trade with israel. And Isreal really believes that they've won just by eliminating 4 hamas battalions? Nonsence!

I'm Brazilian and it's difficult to give an opinion, but it seems that some Israelis don't seem to understand that it's Hamas that doesn't want to negotiate and that all that's left is for Israel to enter Rapha
I feel deeply for the families of the hostages. I can't even begin to imagine the pain and torment they're going through. I also feel deeply for the families of the soldiers, who want their loved ones back safe and sound. But I also can't see how stopping the war would be the right way to go. I tend to agree with the man at 1:05 : if Israel leaves Gaza now and leaves Hamas in power, then all the people who died during October 7th and all the soldiers who died in the war died for nothing. Hamas said they would do it again. I'm sure they will; if they're left with the power to do so... My heart is with all of you. אהבה מצרפת

Not so sure about the sample of people you interviewed. Most of the on line Israeli sources that I have been following suggest that the majority of the Israeli public support the IDF going into Rafa to finnish this job. 0:00

Praying for Israel from the city of Saint-Honore-de-Shenley in Quebec, Canada, there are several people praying for Israel in our small town. By the way, I remembered the place where there are those stores (the Golda, etc) where you are. I always remember the very special feeling I sensed when I went to Israel, in no other place I ever whent in the world I sensed such indescribable feeling, that's God's land for sure! Thanks again Rotem, continue your great work please.

Very surprised by this interviewer. She interviews the people with signs around there necks because they want the kidnapped brought home ( who doesn't) at any price (that is another question). Where are all the vast majority of Isrealis who believe that Hamas needs to be eliminated? Not in her interview with an exception. Selection is everything. I lost a lot of respect for this lady. Some of her interviewed believe Hamas spokesmen more than Netanyahu. Mostly leftist; we have many in Israel, too.
Negotiating with the enemy is futile. Lord Halifax advocated negotiating with Hitler, and thank God the War Cabinet opposed him. An evil like Hamas cannot be negotiated with. And Columbia U's insistance on negotiating with the anarchists who took over the campus was ridiculous - they simply escalated and invaded Hamilton Hall. Only force, the NYPD could defeat them.
