    I remember those days, especially the robbery , my mum worked for maynickolas at the time in Perth. Crazy days. The painters and docker union wasn't much different here either.

      Since the amnesty after the Port Arthur massacre they are legally available to farmers, gun club members. Criminals obtain them on the black market.

      @@truthhurts2879 The American reference didn't escape me but Melbourne in the '80s wasn't a lawless hick town in the back of beyond. It was a large modern city, the cultural capital of Australia and the richest city in the World at that time. It would be equally as accurate to describe NYC in the 80s as cowboyville.
