I always find the part before the Three Kingdom (Before 215 when Liu Bei took over Shu) much more interesting and more action when all the famous heroes was at their prime
Nice video! though at the end you left out the part at the end of the Blindfolded Boy's vision where he sees someone sitting in a chair in a field, with an escort of guards, dying from old age and dropping his fan, only for the camera to pan out and return to the Blindfolded Boy and showing him holding the same fan. Was this a vision of himself dying of old age? Was it implied that he used his visions to unite the kingdom under his rule, and then he passed away of old age? That part somewhat threw me off guard just because I don't think the fans being the same is a coincidence.
Great video, thank you. Have to say there is a big error though. You mentioned a few times the Nameless Warrior defeated someone easily, and having played the game I'd say there was nothing easy about most of the fights 😂. Kidding of course, I probably just suck at this game. Just finished it yesterday. Lu Bu fight made me want to yell and break something.
11:01 "A mindless, bloodthirsty beast." Excuse you, he's more than that, and his demonic design looks dope af so don't disrespect my boy like that plz&ty😂😂😂
He was my absolute favorite looking demon! The best demon boss fight, however, has to go to Lu Bu’s centaur form! The overall best boss fight in my opinion was the Blindfolded Boy. What about for you?
I'm more preoccupied to how they inserted the nameless warrior to be part of the trio and it wasn't Liu Bei. It's like Nioh 2 where you are part Hideyoshi 😂
@@reDoraemon He was, but if you read the mission details, they are clearly pitching the nameless warrior as part of the trio. And liu bei is just the "other sworn brother". Suggesting that somehow history got it wrong.
@@Duckpo988 oh dang, nice details you're catching there.. i kinda ignoring the mission details because i'm not playing the game there 😂but dang, that's sucks.. they did Liu Bei dirty there. he was supposed to be the brain out of 3 of them but they turn him into a boss monster instead 🤦
Maybe it's just me, but when I'm actually playing a game like this, I'll skip through the story a lot, because I just want to get back to the action, but then later, when I'm in the mood, I'll take a look at what the story was all about.
I prefer to completely immerse myself during the first playthrough and soak in all the juicy lore. I typically skip cutscenes one challenge runs or subsequent playthroughs.
By collecting enough Genuine Qi and using the Blindfolded Boy as the vessel. He would extract the ultimate elixir and possibly inject or give it to the masses granting them immortality in the process. The problem is that it requires a massive amount of human casualties in order to concoct the recipe. If the amount of Qi is insufficient, then it results in an imbalance of Demonic Qi that transforms the user.
Fine narrating as usual 👏. That said the story and music for this game is so thoroughly mid... It's a story with next to zero humanity. All the characters are one dimensional robots and the music certainly doesn't help illustrate the epic story the game tries to portray. It comes across as so stagnant. Each iteration is just like a fresh layer of paint but the substance itself has failed to evolve after all these years. It's become something similar to junk food. Which is fine, everyone loves junk food, but it can be so much more. What a shame. The 3 kingdoms story needs a revisiting from a different perspective. Something the God of War franchise managed to do by taking a very different approach to traditional Norse mythology

I’m hearing that this is based off The Three Kingdoms
Awesome video that definitely deserves more attention!
Three kingdoms period if dynastic china, powerful men became deties, brought peace, benevolence, but war unending war.
War. War never changes.
Sewing more chaotic version of the War of the Three kingdoms
Nice video
Thank you!

dang, at the end it reveals that the blindfolded boy is zhuge liang? i didn't expect that twist coming 😂

Genuinely exact reason I’m here
Video is great but buy a better mic
What I don't understand was what tf was Yu Ji's plan, how the hell was he supposed to "forge the ultimate elixir"

@alargecorgi2199 Lmao thats a genuine plan, "yeah imma kill... Ehhh a lot of people I guess thats gonna be enough"
He was just eyeballing it.
He is zhung liang

I agree. Although I loved the gameplay, the silent protagonist and questionable dialogue at some points was simply not the best approach.
