Thanks for the video. I just installed the new rotokap trunk bed cover for my defender on Saturday. Man its awesome! Its a must have item. No more looters stealing my gear.
Good video. I have had a few issues right off the bat with my Lonestar Limited. In fact, it is in the shop right now with a charging issue. I do like the machine though. I have had several Polaris's in the past, and this does seem like a better , tighter built machine.
Loved the video. Would love to see another full in depth one of your Can Am. I would love to own one someday but the way you have yours setup is exactly how I would want mine. Military discounts does help enough to equip one like this though lol. Could you do another full walk around and pros and cons?
If it were me I would crack open the windshield and crack the back windows and drive around get the heat out of the cab then cool it down gets the humidity and heat out of the machine
I've got a 2022.5 crew cab and I'm surprised at how well the AC actually works. BTW I live down in Florida so I'm no stranger to the heat. I'm gonna run my AC intake and filter into the cab and I know that will make a huge difference. I don't know why they put it under the hood so all the heat from the radiator gets sucked into the AC system.
@@RockyRohde I've heard there are guys down here that sell a kit that basically snorkels the AC system but I haven't found one yet. They run it in the cab and it makes a huge difference.
Am more curious about how you wash you ride. Namely, the interior. Have you found that tou can spray down the entire inside, dash everything with out issue? I was told you can spray the entire thing down???
Is your A/C factory charged or have you had it recharged and if so how much freon did they put back in it, I've seen other people say they had to put more in it than the factory recommends. Awesome buggy and videos, Thanks.
Pulled a vacuum and installed recommended charge day 1.. The Freon was low. I used a new charging machine and entered the exact charge. It injects system without it running. Pressures were perfect and coil temp was good.
I've got the exact same rig. Have you ridden much in the rain? Mine literally rained inside the first time i did. I've had the roof off and added more weather stripping, tightened the door latches, siliconed a dozen places etc and still have a couple of leaks. Primarily the front windshield. It's actually back at the dealership right now for a new front windshield gasket and check the AC for pressures because mine works for awhile and then seems to stop and then I'll get alot of condensate actually come out on the floorboard inside the cab. Then it will start cooling again for awhile.
I got the same identical issue stops and starts floor condensation ,and rear passengers cook.I am investigating on putting a squirrel cage blower above the seat on the ROPS.
Hi Rocky, I hope you're doing well. I came across your channel I wanted to introduce you to a cooling vest that helps people working in hot environments cool down and avoid heat stroke. I think your viewers would find it interesting. Would you be open to reviewing our cooling vest on your channel? We can send you a sample for you to try and share your honest feedback with your followers. Let me know if you're interested and we can discuss further.

Thanks for the video not much out here on the AC.
Like a 40 degree split that’s damn good

Agree… I recharged mine on day 1. It would barely cool. I think the should have increased ac size and maybe added some rear vents on crew cabs..
Great video, answered my question from S Texas.

My channel has the full build with parts listing in previous video
@@RockyRohde okay, I saw that one just thought you did some more to it. Thanks
I can guarantee the AC works better than my hot ass Z Force! Any cool air is a relief. I'm jealous.
Yes it’s good..
So when you get a chance could do a decibel reading in the front while driving around.(maybe full throttle) Thank you

Appreciate the info… I’m going to add that to my list also.. pulling that hot air off the top of the radiator can’t be good..

Let me know.. I will start looking also..
Have either of you done this Re route yet? Or have more info on the snorkel option? Seems like a great idea. Lmk thanks
Seems like you would want a lighter color than black in that climate.

Hmm... Question? Could you tell me what tire/and size/ rating of tire that is? Thanks. Jeff
Fuel reaction 20” wheel with 35” utv Bogger
Great video. I am curious if you have ceramic tint on your machine or if it’s carbon
It is Ceramic
Oh... And if you could what rim is that? It looks Great! Thanks again. Jeff

Question how do I know if this is street legal in Florida
Add a Milwaukee m18 fan in the cab to help move the air.

How big is your garage opening for it to fit in there ?
Thanks

Foam cannon with atv wash.. cr spotless filter..
Not good, not for the price. Great video made my decision.
Glad it helped
Aside from the LQBTQ wheels this thing is nice!
Dang, 94 to 88??? That sucks
They work better when your moving
Don't want too make you can am guys mad .but I'm a polaris man and my air works great
Be better when it’s tented and insulated better

you might as well buy a smart car and drive it on the trail--same size and a ton cheaper
