- Join Theo and myself as we head back to Scotland for The Irn Bru Carnival 2022 / 2023 event by QD Events. We take you for a full tour and take you on lots of rides with our On ride POVs
We are BACK in Scotland for the 4th time this year as we head to the SECC in Glasgow for the very first time for their giant indoor fun fair. Here we see some big Scottish names like Horne's, Wheatley's and Stringfellows, as well as some English names such as Reeves and Taylor's.
Details of the fun fair;
-Open daily until 15th January 2023
-Online price of £18.50 to gain entry with 10 ride tickets. Each ride is 1 ticket (Dodgems 2 per car) games 2 tickets and inflatable zone 3 tickets
-Located at SECC, Glasgow, Scotland.
Opening times vary each day check Irn Bru Carnival webpage for specific times.
-Car park available at their multistorey car park which is pay on exit. I paid £11 for 5 hours.
-We experienced the day to be extremely busy. to avoid this, go as early as possible.
Star flyer, which is outside by the entrance, is ran by payments and tickets make it cheaper (£3 to ride £2 with a ticket).
-Toilets, game stalls, Arcade and catering available on site.
Important to note that filming for such (like YT) is strictly prohibited. We gained permission from the organisers for material to be captured and used for our social media pages. You will be refused entry should you take professional equipment.

Nottingham UK Miami, owned by Stringfellows, another showman who use to own the "Downhill Racer" Speedway I use to Staff, was owned by Taylors of Edinburgh, then Stringfellows, then Arthur Miller, then The Bygone Village at Fleggburgh, 1997 - 2003 and then scrapped 😢

We had 40 tokens 😂 it was so busy we ended up spending them on games as there were 30min- 1hour queues for every ride!! Would have been better if it wasn’t so busy, but oh well. It was raining when we went but we were going to go on the starflyer but it was so wet we couldn’t great vlog 😊
Yes the Matterhorn is music explosion, had a bit of a refurb
It rained when we went too, probably why it was so busy! We got there not long after opening and you can see how much quieter it was at the start. Next time, get there for 11am and bang out all the rides lol

The entry fee gives you 10 ride tokens, each ride is effectively 1 token. If you click the description of this video, I posted some details about it all in there
