Fantastic tutorial! Many thanks for that. Question for you please: I want to create a RUclips thumbnail in Canva using my own product photo. How can I enhance the photo using Canva's AI tools? I'm not talking about adjusting the usual photo settings in Canva. I just want the photo to look more upmarket and artistic, like the ones produced in MidJourney. Thanks in advance.
Hello. Thanks for the question, it's a good one! I'm actually going to make a video about creating thumbnails in Canva soon, but in the meantime, have you tried this? Open up the Canva RUclips thumbnail generator. Start from scratch, or choose an existing template. Then, Click and drag your product image that's yours into the editor. Then, Click on your image. Once clicked, look for and click on "edit" at the top of the menu bar. Once you click edit you'll see a large menu on the left hand side that will open up and have a lot of many different options (not just editing options). You'll see the background remover tool, filters, smart mockups and many other 3rd party options to make your photo stand out more. You many have already tried this and this is what you're referring to. But for now, as far as Canva's AI, there doesn't appear to be an AI tool that can edit our own photos that we upload. But, I think it's only a matter of time before that is a possibility. They seem to be releasing a lot of new features fast, I.E. you can now upload PSD files (photoshop) directly into Canva and everything will be editable just like it was in Photoshop.
Love the video but i did exactly as you showed but i dont see the Magic tab when i hit the plus sign. i only see Magic Write. I am subscribed to pro. Am I doing something wrong?
Does this help? I did a quick screen recording and circled the area where you will find it. You're right though, when you hit the + button Magic Write appears. But the Magic tab is actually a search bar (above the Magic Write option). It's a little confusing, but does that make sense? Here's the link: www.loom.com/share/0075cfce0e1247db82f21407a766d5a3
Not sure if this helps but here’s a short guide from Canva as well. www.canva.com/magic-write/ I’ve heard some people mention that they wouldn’t have the design option appear either unless they were in a Canva Doc only.

Thank you Thank you THANK YOU!
You are so welcome!
Canva Ai writer is really good. It generates apt results
You're right. It is way better than I thought it would be.
Unable to upload own images etc
Cool. But does not do bulk create. i.e. 50 images at one time. You have to select one by one.
That’s a good point. I wish it did. Maybe in the future?
