- REVISITING MY SUMMER PREMIER LEAGUE PREDICTIONS. So here we are, fast approaching the midpoint of the 2023/24 season, it's time to take a look at how my predictions for Liverpool, Man City, Man United, Chelsea, Spurs, Aston Villa and Everton are going, and how my chat for the Sky Bet Fan Hope Survey is doing too. Based on the first half of the season, I do think both our first teams have a real chance of finishing in the Champions League places in both Premier League and Super League. However, as for title contenders we’ll see around April time where they land but anything is possible. I think the men’s first team squad is fine in terms of squad health. The women’s first team, we do need a couple of world class signings in January to push us forward till the end of the season. Whatever happens though, it’s going to be an incredible ride with the EFL Cup, both FA Cups and UEFA Men’s Europa League all to play for as well. YNWA
It's getting near that time Maych, stars are going to align ! New "hero" going to emerge from a tight encounter with the Gooners.

I always feel that this is the more intellectual channel that you do. It is very noticeable that your accent decreases on this channel. You come across as you have thought about what you are about to say.
For me I generally agree with your comments, I think this weekends game is massive, it is all about making gaps, if we win the next two games we will be 10 points ahead of City before they next play, those sort of gaps can really affect teams. City look tired and the idea of having to haul back 10 points could have a huge effect on them. They have an easy draw in the CL league and they may just concentrate on that.
I can’t be there on Saturday but I fully expect you to have no voice on Sunday, you and everyone need to sing your hearts out.
For me the aim at the start of the season was to finish ahead of Newcastle and Spurs. League cup and or Europa and id be happy. Happy Christmas to you and yours Paul. Thanks for the excellent content this year. YNWA.

Great as ever Paul. I’m with you, I think we can do it, however I’m not sure we will. I’m not necessarily ruling out Villa but you’d have to say the three obvious shouts are the most likely. I can’t personally see past City, if they’re within touching distance come the start of Feb, they just always seem to go on a run from there that sees them home and dry.

Interesting vid with decent predictions on the whole. It's still all about City for me & when not if they wake up, which they surely will at some point. I think they'd only need to win 5 games in a row to get back to the top & 10 wins on the bounce is well within their grasp too. I just don't think Arsenal or Villa can do anything over the course of a season that would put them out of reach for Liverpool & if either or both finish above us, it would only be by a few points where as City could be 10 clear without breaking a sweat. Still all to play for.
- UEFA Cup is the last one Klopp hasn’t won so hope we can do it
- Top 4 finish
- Finish above Man U
- League Cup would be a great season or any 3 of the 4 wishes would be great
I think Liverpool's hero in January may turn out to be Bradley. Him playing right back moving TAA into midfield while Mac Allister, Endo, Thiago and Bajcetic are unavailable could come in really handy.
League cup, uefa cup, super cup, really push for league top 3 for sure then that’s a great season
I think you’re spot on, we can win it but not sure we will. If a few things go our way it’s possible and we have a great chance in the cups. We’re still only at the start of this version of Jurgen’s team so the next few years will be really exciting either way

Liverpool need to keep winning games, man city are already coming back stronger and Alvarez and Silva look really good right now.
I think Man City are still favourites with Liverpool 2nd Arsenal 3rd favourites

Watching this video after the Christmas fixtures when this video was made just before they started and after the 0-0 draw with Man Utd and it’s clear from most of the comments that you all took that draw too badly. We’re looking great and whilst Man City are still lurking behind it remains to be seen whether they will do what everyone seems to assume and go on a huge run. I have a feeling they won’t this time and it’s more a question of whether Liverpool can maintain the fantastic level they’ve shown so far. If they get a big result in one of the key games such as beating Arsenal away or City at home I think the boost that will give this team will be massive and they’ll have the belief to go on and win the title. Also Thiago will have a swansong towards the end of the season to see us over the line
Apart from the fans bit, finger out 3 sides of the ground, no taking nothing for granted
I think we might fall just short but mostly due to injuries but no doubt we can go on to win Europa and either FA or League Cup

League cup and uefa cup double plus top 4 is a win for us this season. City will kick on in Feb/march and arsenal will run them closer than last year. Newcastle to get 4th now they don't need to worry about Europe

Unfortunately I don’t think we will win the league or city they’ve been really poor recently but could win every game from now till May I think Arsenal will win it this season

But he actually signed a new contract. Rejecting initial offers is a part of negotiation. City worked harder for Gundo than Walker, Pep said he wanted to keep him but he wanted to leave, it happens.

@@coldblackarts Old Bob P didn't win anything in his first season (1974/5) finding ourselves in the Uefa Cup for 1975/6! We won it, and the League.
City wont even get 80.
