Thank you for making the trip up, riding our trails, and sharing your experience with everyone! DTN promises that the Pewabic Trail System will be a 5/5 Cheese Curd Rating as it's just up the hill from Culver's!
@@ronaldmicheau5086 thats awesome the Axum handled it. skip the downhill bike and get an enduro or trail bike. something with around 150/160mm of travel. youll enjoy it much more than a full DH rig
I live in iron mountain, I love all the trails. DTN is taking this area by storm, that being said have you guys checked out the trails in Norway? They are working on a trail right by Millie hill that looks like it'll be fun, if you guys make it back this way.
So cool they are fully open now! I stayed at Pine mountain when I raced the NASA Iron Mule Stage Rally and noticed the fresh trails a few years ago and wish I took my bike. We plan to run the event again and I was going to bring my bike and stay a few extra days. I saw those upper trails by the ski jump and got excited they might do lift access. Hopefully 2025.
It's been over a month and I'm still not quite healed. Got it winched up pretty good though without stitches. The rental bike was a bit heavy for me so it dropped out a couple times over jumps on me. Not fun.
@@acebikemedia as a local I’m stoked that I don’t have to travel to be able to ride good trails. Improvements could be made, sure, but like 2 years ago none of it existed. I think it’s going in a positive direction.
It is crazy how much it's blown up in two years. I just rode the Norway stuff the other day too and I'm really impressed with how much you guys got going on. Jealous
@@acebikemedia I didn’t know about Norway until this year. I was aware of a trail in the Marion park area that had a small loop fit for kids. It wasn’t until I got my bike serviced (U.P Sport & Spoke FTW) and received a local trail map that showed everything Norway had
The trail map is really pretty mind blowing. A lot more to ride in that area then you'd think. I dig it. Really hope it gets some attention. Would be a huge asset to the community
Nice video as usual. Very informative. With my limited abilities, I don't believe I would want to visit. It probably would take me a half hour getting down any of the runs because WITHOUT individual signs at the bigger features, I would be constantly stopping to check what I'm in for. Gap or no gap.
A lot of these trails in iron mountain are relatively new , but already look overgrown, If you going to build double blacks. Maintenance is a much bigger priority than green and blues.
It's been a lot of rain all over the Midwest. I feel like volunteer groups everywhere are struggling to keep up maintenance with plant growth and erosion
I believe if you want to pre book them, go to the UP sport and Spoke website. The rentals are up on there, or you should just be able to walk up and rent. They had plenty in stock.
@@acebikemedia appreciate it! Hoping someday I can join you guys on riding! I’m from Chicago and plan to start MTB RUclips , instagram as well soon. My insta360 x4 just came in yesterday.
Nice! Follow us on Instagram. We might start posting some ride weekends for meet ups. We were just talking about hitting Andres and raceway woods in northern Illinois
Looks really fun and well done on the vid as always!
Thanks for watching. Appreciate it!

We look forward to handing out our first official 5/5! Great work guys! 💪🏻
Love watching you guys ride! And really like all the info you bring to your vids. Shredders!!
Come ride with us!
Pine mountain is a good time, Like you said some of the trails could use a few tweaks. Was there a few weeks back, no shuttle getting in the climbs.
Nice! Yea the pine snake climb wasn't too bad. I could rock that for a few hours if I had too
Was at mille today on a Schwinn axom couldn't believe that bike handled it lol I'm a hour from there saving for a downhill bike or something

I'm actually hoping to check it out on Friday or Saturday. I'll be accidentally in the area for a few hours so look forward to taking a look

You don't even have to bring the bike man. The rentals are SOOO good. We are glad it's open too!
I got a gash like that in the same exact spot on my left leg. It's a nice scar now :D. Those pedals are brutal.

Nice job!!!
Great video! YT and iron mountain….you have good taste!
😂. Only the finest
This looks super fun!
The whole iron mountain scene is really fun and interesting
Can't wait to get my passport i live in Windsor across Detroit I'm definitely making my way. Awesome video
Dang that's awesome. Lots of great riding in upper Michigan. You won't be bored
I was there the day you recorded this, had no clue you were a RUclipsr. Earned yourself a new sub 🤙
@@Systm_Crsh thanks man! Appreciate it a ton! What did you think of the trails?

I was riding the shuttle with you guys!
Nice! Did you have fun at pine?
@@acebikemedia Yeah, the trails are really nice!
Y'all need to come out to Farside Bike Park in Galena, IL.
That's the plan. Just needs to stop raining!
Might have to stop here next time I head through the UP. Usually I hit copper harbor and marquette. Looks pretty fun
The scene is blowing up. Definitely worth a stop.
Cool, I’m headed east through Michigan from Wyoming maybe stop up there. Can I overnight in the parking lot with the RV?
I don't think you can but there are two spots for RVs close by. Rivers bend and lake Antoine. Haven't stayed there but hear good things

Nothing wrong with that. Better safe than sorry. There is a lot to offer in the iron MTN area though. I might check out some more next weekend

Sure did!

crazy how i live in michigan and this is still 7 hours away
I know exactly how you feel.
Right, if it's 7 hours away from where you live in Michigan, they perhaps it should be part of Wisconsin. You'd still be 7 hours away.
Watch out for deer 🦌
Almost hit one at Millie Hill yesterday
