You can watch the Star wars movie by enabling telnet client from windows features in the programs and features in control panel, as the telnet command isnt enabled by default.

Though piping to clip is volatile. Output to a static file: Overwrite/create a log file from output: mycommand > mynewfileoutput.log Add to an existing log output with a command: mycommand >> myappendedoutput.log

You can change the colour of the cmd by going into the properties of cmd by opening file location and selecting colours tab and select your colour.you can customize your cmd too.
There is one more interesting thing about CMD that not everyone knows. CMD is very respectful of your file shortcut. If you create a shortcut for your batch script and associate it with a custom icon, then the console window launched by this shortcut will take not only the shortcut name in the window header, but also the selected icon. I don't think any other file (like a text file) behaves like this.

MS was losing developers to Linux and macOS because they are much easier to use with tools like Git, Python and other stuff that's all the rage with developers right now. So they had to act. If you need to specify a file as a cmd argument which is somwhere else on the file system you can drag the file icon from the explorer into the cmd window. It will insert the complete filename in Quotes into the cmd prompt, e.g. "C:\Users\test\Desktop\test.txt".
Enable it from searching *“Turn Windows Features on or off”* and search for the telnet folder and tick the icon and you enable it... Works with windows 11 and 10...
Press start and search for "windows features" and click "turn windows features on or off", in this window select "telnet client". After this is done the command should work.

The old way I’ve been using since Windows 95/NT4 to navigate the Command Prompt to an already open explorer folder is this:
1. Type cd and space in cmd.exe / Command.com
2. Drag the folder to the command window, or even a file. Erase the trailing filename if needed.
Likewise to do the reverse, opening an explorer window directly from the command prompt:
1. Just type explorer .,/e (that is dot comma slash e)

I was around prior to DOS and how I missed some of these I don't know. I still use the cl a lot at work just out of habit and to mess with my peers. This is great! Especially F7 and the color changing for my old eyes. Thanks!
