- Hagan Reviews Episode 147.
Another Alcon crossover, big guns and (probably) big dicks clash in this mid-90s gay action thriller!
Want to support the show or make a request?: / diamandahagan
I'm loving these crossovers. More gorehounds and Diamanda, plz.
Andrew's voice sounds like concentrated, sweet goodness, especially when stalling for the sex scene. It makes me sooo happy.
About three days ago I was telling my boyfriend how much I missed seeing Aleister and thought he'd been killed off for real. So happy to see he's come back! (because of the reason)
I really need to script a new ep for him :)
Good to see Gorehounds is still around, his channel has been silent for a while. I thought something bad happened to him...
ALEISTER IS BACK BABY !
I’m still stunned that the Bear City trilogy stars both Kevin E. Smith and Kevin ‘Silent Bob’ Smith
Glad to see "because of the reason" again. When was the last time you brought that up, feels like forever.
"There's a good nb" this review is off to a good start.
(Has that minion(?) appeared before?)
Yup in Necromentia.
Great to see you two working together again. Great analysis on the social commentary as well.
Loved the Spaceballs reference.
3:40 a bald Black guy who wears black leather and highly reflective sunglasses shooting people. Did the Wachowskis see this movie, by any chance?
31:30 So I'm the only person in the comments that caught on that is a photo of Mark Hamil and not Slavoj Zizek? ... You failed, Internet.
Another review with Gorehounds ? awesome another review with hug minion FUCK YES!!! 10/10 keep up the great work Mistress HAIL HAGAN.
P.S hug minion is still my favorite minion
That photo of Zizeks makes him look uncannily like Mark Hamill.
33:35 It would be great if everybody had a standoff because the word went around and each person thought the cop was a different "Vinny".
31:00 The Joy of Zizeks - When I get home, crushed by my inability to escape the labyrinth of ideology, I take solace that the global marketplace of commoditized desire at least allows me to cuddle up with a Zizek sex doll.
Is it bad that I think a vice like hug sounds like fun?
Rocko's Modern Life reference but no Spunky? missed opportunity there.
The only thing that would have made this movie even better is if there was a scene with Josh and his partner talking with a guy about the benefits of "sol panwels," and "ICT Software."
Oh, Gorehound hooked up with the minion. How sweet... and kinky I bet.
17:11 Why does Diamanda Hagan look more feminine when she's trying to act like a man?
I always assumed that Alister is meant to be a bit foppish in order to be a proper inverse to Hagan as far as presentation. If Alister is a Homeless, Bastard, Drunken, Actor, & all together Foppish Guy, than Hagan's characterization can be comparatively Brash, Honest, Legitimate, Sober & all together Butch.
I love that they moved to NJ like that shit hole is any better then NYC. Trust me Jersey ain't a safe place lolol. Great review!!!
22:22 WHAT ISN'T better in Raspberry Reich? We are swimming in the Gudrun cinematic universe. LaBruce has TWO more movies starring Susanne Sachße in the festival circuit now - Ulrike's Brain, and The Misandrists.
Need more Hug Minion
Indeed. They're also in the Breeders and Necromentia reviews.
@@DiamandaHagan I just rewatched those, before I realized I'd missed this one, when it was originally posted.
Weird taste in men, but a good taste in music.
I share all your videos. Just doing my part to support haganistan. Love you!
I did a photoshoot with Mortiis a few years ago... He really didn't come off as camp, although he did tell me that the art for 'The Grudge' was inspired by the 3rd Enigma album so maybe it's just my really bad gaydar.
ALEISTER!!!!!
Never has so many squibs gone off on one man since Jimmy Caan as Sonny Corleone.
I love Alistair!
Did anyone get a link for Gorehounds RUclips Channel?
Looks like he deleted it :(
Why did you show a pic of Mark Hamill.
Not that I’m upset or anything, the man is a gift, just confused
Long out of date reply, but if anyone watching afterwards is interested in the answer look up Slavoj Žižek, the philosopher being discusses and compare to the photos.
Do you know where I can download the soundtrack? I kind of need it in my life.
19:00 Def put the "deaf" in defenestrate.
1:30 Mistrers, I coulden't agree with you more.
twisted and wonderful
Well this looks interesting.
31:29
...was that an H.Bomberguy reference?
I love HBG but I don't think he's the only person to notice how Slavo Zizek and Mark Hammil look the same.
Half of me loves HBG the other half wants to tell him to shut the fuck up.
ANDREEEEEEEEEW! YOU'RE SO SEXY! WELCOME BACK!
2:55 No...I have :( I will never get over it has the worst twist in cinematic history.
I hope the guest reviewer is alright. It sounded like he pulled a muscle or something reaching so far for all his symbolism analysis.
Holy smokes, this is a bad movie!
It's like they had several ideas and went with all of them.
the camera gives me motion sickness and the directing gives me tonal whiplash.
I still can't understand the need for the leads gun to have a silencer.
Shouldn't the hitman's gun have one?!
What's with the yakkity-yak standoff between the hitman and the lead?
Whatever happened to "leave the gun, take the cannolis"?
I even completely forgot there was a *subplot!*
Jeez Louise, this is a *BAD* (and badly made) film!
(I am really trying hard to mind my language.)
The only way that movie could have made sense, would be if it was all a dream.
The lead wakes up, they have their meeting with the social worker, get custody of the kid and live happily ever after.
Your cohost needs to invest in a better mic. His VO is terrible.
