@@MichelvanBiezen what they mean is ice skates aren't just thin rectangle as assumed in the video but face that contacts with ice is curved inwards, so 1 ice skate blade has 2 even thinner rectangles, thus pressure will be much higher ice hockey skates have even smaller area because not just the face itself is curved inwards but the blade is also curved resulting in much much smaller area
