Thunder giant instead of Flame wingman..... how bizarre

Madness. Though i do wish you could disable it as when your grinding dp with certain decks it gets a little tiresome.
On Duel Links, Flame Wingman has animation. :3
They did that in the previous Legacy of the Duelist as well. Most of these are the same cards as the previous game for animations. The only exceptions I see are the vrains (which did not exist at the time) and Timelord, the xyz, synchro, and fusion dragon who with the exception of starving venom were all dlc in the previous game.

Maybe Thunder Giant is more popular in Japan. But if they only had to give one animation to Jaiden's fusions it should have been Shining Flare wingman.

i honestly think duel links animations were done better. i mean, look at neos here. it's like it came from a PS1 cinematic cutscene.
I don't know what was happening for that Duel I was trying to farm a quick win from 😂 Duel Links ones defo have a higher budget. Some here look really nice for example C39 Utopia Ray V, I think Neos and DMG are by far the worst 🤮

Thunder Giant STILL gets an animation, yet Flame Wingman (the OG Hero Fusion), Yubel (one of THE most lore-important cards in GX), and Winged Kuriboh Lv 10 (Probably the most iconic Level-based monster in the game that isn't named Armed Dragon and was one of Jaden's aces) get left out.

Yeah, it's weird because the original LOTDs animations took way too long whereas a lot of the best shots with these are right as they fade to black, if they were longer but skippable that would have been cool

The Gameplay may be better than Duel Links but the Animations and the way The Characters react to their cards are way more cooler and alive in Duel Links.

If Atticus is playable on Duel Links, his ace monster has to be Red-Eyes Darkness Dragon, either way I'm pissed. :'v
I don't know about Firewall Dragon, it's debatible.
I haven't seen Zexal yet so I don't know who's aces are those Numbers.
Duel Links already has Black Rose Dragon, Flame Wingman, Ciber Blader, Ojama King, the Egiptian Gods, the sacred beast (not avaibable yet but they exist), Rainbow Dragon, Ciber End Dragon, Ancient Fairy Dragon, Power Tool Dragon and Exodia (this last one is a little different from the others because it's not a summon but it's an animation).
@@leandroroman7053 Well, in DL, we do have Uria from the GX Chronicles events (not sure why he's the only Sacred Beast we're allowed to have right now but eh), and we don't actually have Black Rose - the only way to play Black Rose is through Aki's "Mark of the Dragon - Talon" skill.
Still calling bullshit that none of the Signers were allowed to have their own aces in their starting decks when *literally everyone else* got to. As much as I hope that the other gens following 5Ds (if they do follow) get to start with their aces, it would really be weird for 5Ds to have been singled out like that.
I hope it's not the start of a trend.
What surprises me is that Thundergaint got an animation but Flame wingman didnt
But what surprises me even more is there's no skip feature for these animations
Is there a way to turn off the animations? My deck uses clear wing, dark rebellion, starving venom, and odd eyes and the animations get grating when I'm mass summoning all of the above to fuse/xyz into other stuff
haha I love that ending and the ending song! Animations are decent. I wish there were more but may have to pick this up for nostalgia sake at some point. lol
Ahahaha thought you might ;) Yeah defo wish there was more, especially considering the only "new monsters" are Decode and Dark Rebellion/Clear Wing/Starve Venom. Definitely feels at home playing YGO on the Switch!
There a LOT of monsters that needed an animation but didn't get one.
Every duelist's main monster should've had one (Legendary Fisherman, Insect Queen, Black Rose Dragon, etc)

And odd they didn't give one of Kite's monsters an animation. He had an ace monster in Zexal and Arc V.
The monsters hit the field one at a time, so it'll ask you to place DM - play animation, place Neos - play animation etc!

I did. I love using game original cards that had the anime effect and werent released yet, and able to do better animations that you can skip.
Helpful tip as soon as the animation is over skip 10 seconds it helps save time

The animation for Starving Venom doesn't look the best, but I do like the other universes in the background, that is a nice touch!

IDC if there are not that many summon animations as long as all 4 of my fav dragons got a animation
the game is cool, though here's a few things I think would've made it better
1) the lack of iconic duels. I know they got six series in one game, but you'd think they'd have more
2) in the ZeXaL there are no duels with Rio. the only one where Rio is credited, you're not really dueling Rio, but rather Abyss possessing her.
3) also in ZeXaL, we didn't get Nasch vs Quatro or Yuma vs Trey.
4) in GX, we don't get Jaden VS Hassleberry or any duels with the Supreme King. not to mention the only non-Jaden shadow rider duel is Alexis VS Titan. also, we only get one Jaden VS Chazz duel, and that one was when he's brainwashed. and we don't get Jaden VS Bastion. we also don't get Jaden vs Sartorious round 2
5) in the original we don't get Joey VS Marik, and I know people want to end that duel the right way
6) this one is one of the most important I feel, but the VRAINS was disappointing. I mean, really, only three duels?
7) kinda minor, but this one relates to the video. more animations for rival monsters. I mean, the only rival monsters that got animations were Blue Eyes and Red Dragon Archfiend. and the upgraded forms didn't get any

By default, yes you can only have one monster summoned from the extra deck. Link monsters Allow you to create more zones to summon extra deck monsters into
