It is a full size guitar, the body is very close in shape and size to a concert style acoustic. It is about 20" tall 15" wide (at the widest part), and 3.5" thick.
Hello. I landed late to this post but anyway let me ask; does the PRS Angelus AX20E Acoustic Electric comes with any onboard control panel like volume, tone, eq, etc?
There are two controls in the sound hole. One for volume and one for tone. Nothing crazy intrusive like you see on most acoustic electric guitars. Much more subtle.
Such an amazing review!! Can you please tell us how you recorded the acoustic guitar and your voice, especially this video and your other tutorials as well??? Thanks in advance!
Sure! That's a great idea. In this video everything you're hearing is from a Takstar (I think that's the brand of mic) shotgun shoemount microphone on top of my camera. Most things I record are directly recorded through that microphone! I'm experimenting with plugging my interface into my camera mic input so I can direct record mics and guitars but haven't worked everything out yet.
Yeah! Absolutely, I play some classical style pieces and this guitar does amazingly for it. Percussively it sounds nice as well. Typically I'd recommend a guitar with a thinner satin finish for something like that, but this guitar has proved is possible from a thicker lacquer.
The width of the neck is very thin. Just under 1.75" at the nut. Very easy to get your hand around. The thickness from back to front is a bit on the chunkier feel in my opinion, but I've had other guitarist play mine and say the profile is much thinner and more comfortable feeling than other acoustics. Overall the feel of the neck is great to me, and it is the best feeling acoustic I've ever played with a gloss finish.
It is definitely a brighter acoustic guitar! Which I love. In my experience a good mid-range sound can be found in Taylor's and a good dark tone will be found in Martin. Hope this helps!
Hey, I am really interested in this guitar. what is the body size of this guitar?

Just ordered one as a second acoustic that I may use
Awesome! Let me know when you get it and what you think.
@@MrAustinMusic Yeah it's actually really nice to play after playing it for a day everything seems good with it :)

If it is another song I don't know what it is. That is a small piece I wrote a while back.

@@rahultssb3285 anytime! You too, cheers mate!
Would you recommend this guitar for a fingerstyle player? I use a lot of percussion and I don't know if it's a good guitar for that...

@@MrAustinMusic thank you so much
I have been thinking about getting this guitar but want to know how the neck feels. Width and thickets.

Make the next one in 4k 3D
I need a second camera that is identical to the first and I will.
Sounds very bright so i'm thinking this guitar is not for me.
