As an elementary Reading Specialist, we always encourage parents to read aloud to their infants. The bonding time just becomes so much more special as you share your love of reading with him. Again, just a little suggestion and hopefully no one will be offended by it!!

When my twins were old enough to answer me,just under 1yr old,I stopped moving stuff and taught them to leave things where I put them. Doesn't mean they didn't touch,but they learned to put things back,then they lost interest and just played with their things. I used to treasure those walks with my babies and it helped to loose the baby weight.

For everybody who read this after this 9 month, i´ll give you a good advice: jumping jacks and crunches are not good after pregnancy!! After 6 weeks the body is not already healed! Please ask your Doctor or Midwife which sport activitys are good for you

Do breast feed? Breast feeding burns extra calories. With my son, I didn't breast feed and it took me a month to get down to my pre baby weight of 110 (go up to 140). With my daughter, I breast fed and went back to my pre baby weight in TWO WEEKS! I went from 150 back down to 110
