WOW THANKS ! NONE OF IT WORKED
So, maybe you probably have fixed this by now, but if not try this. If you have been using a VPN and have selected the option to use 'invisibility on LAN', it will block your connection to the router login whether you are connected to the VPN or not. I just spent the last two hours dicking around with this issue. Running a Windows network diagnostic showed that my VPN's firewall setting were interfering but I was unable to change any options that would fix the problem, including turning the firewall off. So, I opened up the VPN settings and turned off 'invisibility on LAN' and that worked. Hope this helps. Peace.

@isaiah corey That depends on the VPN you're using, but in mine (NordVPN) it is under advanced settings. 'Invisibility on LAN' needs to be off/disabled.
@@derrick_martin_g. does it work when you connected the LAN wired to another device, i mean i use my laptop to do that, and accidentally clicked on wrong button but i dont really know what the button is. and then after that, my wifi started being a dick and everyone cannot connect to it and when i use the LAN wired, it says 'No internet, secured'.
I didn't need to do all of this. Just reset it and that was enough. Thanks!

I messed up my IP configuration for my router by trying to use the gateway IP as the client IP, so your first suggestion helped me see what I had done wrong. Thanks!

I searched on the internet for help and came across this.
But my wifi problem is bit complicated.
Now i have tucked the white ethernet cable to the blue end(wan) of the router and then an adapter from lan1 end of router into the computer. But then when I run cmd
, it first of all doesn't show any wireless lan connection
2) it shows ethernet connection disconnected.
3) one major problem i see that , there are some indicating lights at the back of the router which indicate the connection, the connection just goes off randomly and frequently even when the wires i use have been checked successfully by my router service provider. Like as I change the connection from modem to computer, to modem to router to computer, the problem starts.
4) I can't open my ip address to configure the wifi
5) the whole setup i arrange has been checked by my router customer care center a couple of times and it works fine on their side, but when I bring it to connect to my pc, it doesn't work.
Sometimes it feels as if the router has developed some kind of incompatibility with my pc .
I am a total novice and just described my plight. I would be extremely grateful if I get some help here.

Ok, so after I tried a lot of things none of which helped, I finally called my internet service provider. They did something remotely and I think this is what fixed it for me. I can now access my router's control panel.
Do you know what they did? I called my router company for support and they told me to call my internet provider as well.
@@TxConfidential I want to say it was either something about "MAC address" or remotely resetting the connection. I'm not really sure. Maybe they will figure it out once you call them.

The router page is blocked by ISP. How do I access it ?
first 30 seconds of the vid solved my problem, my gateway is .254.254 instead of .1.1

Ive done this now over a thousand times and havent gotten anything but google searches or bing searches or the infamous "that doesnt exsist" it doesnt matter if Im using my PC, doesnt matter if Im using my phone, doesnt matter if Im using chrome, firefox, microsoft edge, for fucking internet explorer. I fucking hate all of this

From the UK, I have not been able to access my vodafone router login from any device, reset my router, factory reset it, and all my devices, tried eveything in the video and still no joy. Ive even tried tethering from multiple devices connected to the cell nets, nothing tried every browser, nothing. Is there anything else I can try apart from getting a completely new Internet Service Provider?

Hey i just bought a "mobile wifi 4G Lte" router from TAKEALOT and it's giving me headaches, when I activate it the the signal light thing is always red and when I check for it's default gateway there is none can you help or should I return it?

The problem is i disabled the wifi and i tried connecting it. It is not in the wifi connecting and i tried to use the 192.168 it does not work cause i need to connect but it is not there and i will be sad cause my mom will be angry
