Shows just how important Rodri really is, Pep's style run throughs him he's the key in how they defend & build up. Then adding in De Bruynes injury & Foden yet to hit form. We know Pep though, they'll have this bad run & then win like 10 or 11 games in a row.
People overreacted about Arsenal & had the season mapped out after just 10 games. Arsenal dropped points with a hard run, including 3 games with red cards. Now Man City are slipping up & Liverpool probably will to, Arsenal will still have a big part in the title race. It's more exciting anyway if there's 3 teams going for it & Man City are having to chase.

Pep know something about the issues facing the club, its slowly trickling through club. You can almost sense pep and the players are trying to pretend the issues facing the club dont affect them but clearly it is.
Be interesting to see what city looks like in 2 years time.

@samkkx that's right bro, but don't forget I used his poor tactics to eliminate man city and liverpool in the following trophies 1. carabao cup, 2. FA cup. so is there any team that doesn't want both the trophies, but it's all about tactics and knowing what you want.
Remember one thing, Eric was not aiming at EPL nor ECL trophies but was focused on FA and carabao . and that was his main focus this season too.

The reason why Man City lost 4 times in a row,
Guardiola did not provide motivation and encouragement to the players, but instead he complained and played drama because many of his players were injured

Shows you how much he relies on his superstars, a few injuries and they look half the team. This is why Fergie was vastly superior, he could make average players look like superstars, injuries wouldn't be such a big factor. The likes of Wes Brown, John O'Shea etc, etc, would come in for cover, still play at an extremely high level.

Pep is in a weird place. His legacy is assured so even in a so called crisis like this there's an air of 'meh'. Consciously he's as much of a winner as ever but the psychology changes after achieving what he has at City. Similar to how teams that clinch titles early, consciously still want to win their remaining games, but they can't match their previous intensity. You can't fake it and you can't summon it.
Whatever happens, Pep's legacy is assured at Man City (OK maybe not 'whatever happems'😂) but it's really fascinating to see them have this blip and I do wonder if he'll be here next season (even leaving the PL tribunal aside).
