Of course it isn't normal approach in Karachi: It 'is' West-to-East landing and I'm witnessing it since my childhood (early-80's)------and it occurs as soon as WINTER season sets-in (Late November to ~February--~4-months), when not only the direction of the wind changes (E--->W, so landing in opposite direction), but the entire summer-long hi-HUMIDITY changes as well (70%------->15% only). And that's the reason why all upcountry flights make their approach (in KHI) from Bin-Qasim (steel mills) thru Korangi-creek-Coast line, DHA/sea-view (start U-turn), flying across Gizri to M.A.Jinnah road (U-turn finish) and then STRAIGHT approach down to the 07R, flying parallel first to the M.A.Jinnah road and then 100% parallel to Stadium road (can be seen in this video from 0:38---1:47 Millennium mall)

Yes, that's true in winter the flight arrivals are changed to 7R... And yes I want to ask is it legal to do spot planes near airport fence..?
