I finally got my avatar set, and I have to tell you that I love it. The perfume is an amazing fresh scent which I gravitate to in the summer months in Miami. The amplifiers are amazing. Very unisex fragrance. I think my husband and I will get good use out of that set. I also got the sampler of Harry Potter and yes Hufflepuff will be next. Love it.

You know I love when you do long videos!! This was a good one! Forgot to tell you I ordered my first HOS fragrance because of you! I have the Benevolence set coming! I can't remember if it comes with candle but definitely the fragrance, butter and wash. They also added a Whispers of truth wash. Now I need the body butter!!!!❤️

I think Avatar will be a classic layering piece. It goes with so much and just morphs with whatever you layer it with, beautifully 🐋 🌊

I really have to try the HOS candles! And I didn't know they made body care too! For the Harry Potter collection, I am in love with Hufflepuff!!!!! It's so lovely! I agree that it's bordering on maybe too sweet but it still works for me. Need to spend more time with the other 3 I only have first impressions. The Avatar fragrance does sound interesting. I love their collaboration collections they're so fun and whimsical! Can't wait to see who they'll partner with next!
I love the candle you got me for Christmas!! Candles are my favorite 🥰 You REALLY need to try the HOS candles though. Best quality by far! And the price is SO so reasonable.

Thank you for mentioning shipping perfumes in the cold. I ordered some perfume to be shipped to NYC and when it arrived, I was disappointed that it didn’t smell the same when it first arrived.
I left it on my vanity feeling disappointed. I picked it up after seeing you mention this and was so happy “It’s baaacck!”
Yes!! The further it travels the longer it needs to sit for me. Fragrances from England need a while, or they’re really distorted.

Everyone raves about Minnie Mouse with the Raspberry, but I really love Mickey with the burst of mandarin orange that reminds me of chilled Dole Mandarin Oranges that used to come in a metal pop top can. My mom would serve them to us kids as a special treat. Happy memories…

Holiday is one of my favorites!! You will absolutely LOVE it, especially if you love their vibrant citruses. Not one of their longer lasting scents, but such a good one 🥰

Hey Greta! between WWII and Hufflepuff….whic do you prefer? I have several samples of Hufflepuff and it’s on sale…. Which do you find is your favorite between the two?
Huff is sold out for a while. Maybe even before the sale.
Sage is an herb like basil. Got HOS with the scent accelerators 15 ml each. I have 2 sets of samples but find them very feminine not unisex. Afraid to spray enough to test dry down. Picked up clones of Layton (eh close on dry down) Killian's angel share smells very boozy hacivat ( very very close) I won't be purchasing any more was curious. Still searching for a fav.

Depending on the collection, the perfumes can be femme heavy. But about half of the cupcakes are amazing on men too.
Are they discontinuing the whisper collection? I haven't seen them restocking after the holiday
There aren't any listed anymore. Only the travel size discovery set, The Whispers Noir Collection and the cult favorite, Whisper of Truth, are listed. Whispers of Truth was always special and has more crystals than the rest of the collection.

Do you think men could wear the avatar edition fragrance or is it more of a feminine fragrance? Do you think you could also wear the avatar amplifiers on their own like a fragrance?
The amplifiers are like oils you would use as a base. Yes, you can wear them alone. But oils don’t evaporate well, which is what you smell. So layering gives better performance.
Avatar is a spa-like aquatic floral. It’s unisex with a slight tilt femme due to florals. It’s a style preference for men.

Have you smelled Pacific Rock Moss by Goldfield and Banks? Would you say HOS Way of Water smells like it? I saw someone mention the similarities on Fragrantica and wanted to hear what you thought.
Similar in that there is an aquatic feel, but definitely not the same notes or scent at all. This is an aquatic fruity floral, where PRM is an aromatic aquatic that is masculine leaning.

🤣 You're not a loser. I hated Harry Potter and thought that people that were into Harry Potter were losers. Then I saw a part of the third movie and saw Gary Oldman was in it and watched it. Then I decided to give the books a try. The books were freaking amazing. Now, I am a huge Harry Potter fan.
I did end up doing a movie marathon once I started during Christmas week 😄 The books are *always* better! But I didn’t have time for that.

It’s very unique and I don’t have anything else in my collection that is even similar. 😅 I’d also argue that it has the greatest lasting power out of all the HP fragrances
