Not a fan of the paracord, but I AM a fan of case manufacturers trying different materials, so I have to give them credit there! The textured fabric on the side (carpet?) is a neat touch, and I think there's a lot of design elements to be explored here. Probably a small niche, but as an interior design nutbar, the concept is ticking all the right boxes for me. :)
I love how they handled the front fan areas on the luca, what is that, really fine mesh? It looks like they're pulling air through solid semitransparent plastic and letting the RGB shine through, very neat optical illusion.
Honestly it seems like you can pull out the whole mobo mount to fit and secure everything externally, and then install it as one big single part. As someone who hates having to finagle mobo mounting feet and screws, I really like this!
They're really charging a premium for a company that launched this year. Looks better off as display pieces. Was hoping they would show up at Micro Center.
Some feedback on the case: I love cases where assembly can be done mostly or partially out of the case frame. I also greatly prefer cases that give me options for where things go. However, front I/O on the bottom of the case would be bad. That would disqualify it from consideration for me. I already dislike bending over to deal with the top of the case to plug stuff in. Stooping all the way to the floor? No.
I do appreciate the 4 USB type A ports with 1 USB type C port. I feel like cases are lacking nowadays in USB type A... most cases have two type A and 1 type C, or some inverse. Gimme more type A front panel USB ports so I don't need to use adapters ffs.
I am actually extremely interested in desktop form factor cases. I wish they would come back in to style. some of these newer cases with the different compartments like those dual chamber case designs with the PSU hidden, reminded me of how those old desktop machines were laid out. I would love a big thick one made of steel
You might be surprised as to the airflow of the 70's case, especially if the fans are set back to allow the entire front to be an intake. The first one with the huge fans looks more restrictive to me.
trashcan case is cool, if you use all the outside surface as cooling surface. its a ton. yep a barrel shaped heat sink rad. mostly passive cooling surface area. very cool looking too.
those psu shroud has that exotic racing-esq case aesthetic like cougar conquer/blazer (which sadly did not have PSU shroud). overall a unique take on cases - but feet should really be redesign.

That carpet case reminds me of the teddy bear case from the 90s. Major heat sink.
If that first case is supposed to go for $220, I say it has 0% chance of selling under a no-name brand.
Does the bottom center fan not pull air from the back chamber though the base(as it looks to)?
Something that has come to mind - is EK there? Have seen no one cover them.
That itx screen case is pretty awesome, I would definitely build in, and use one as an AIO computer. Would do especially well for LAN parties
I too like small cases, the smaller the better
Maybe one day transparent OLEDs will be cheap and a case like the SPES would work without white parts and tons of white internal lighting.
It would be cool for the LUCA case if they could maybe get power through the hinges with pogo style pins for the 2 fans so we can eliminate the 2 wires. I already know people are going to get annoyed when those fan wires get snagged because they get caught.
Cases look good but not at that price. I think there's other options that "look cooler" around the $200 mark. I love 2 big front fans but not for $200
i can already imagine the anime booba on the panorama cooler, the future is now
Looks like the front fans would block teh space to mount the side fans?
I'm using the ALICE. I like it. I was searching for a case where my 3080 can't sag.
Couldn't find a cube case that I liked to I found the ALICE and they even had it on sale (30€ + VAT + shipping).
Would I recommend it? Maybe.
It's really light and easy to carry around!
thanks to the handles built into the ABS-case part :)
Is the Luca case only for people that live on the second floor?
Lost it at "a nice carpet on the side". Dying.
Just punch some holes in the bottom aluminium. Will be fine. Cooler Master Wavemaster had something like that too for the front fan.
2:19 I'll bet any amount of money in the world that that piece is not solid aluminum
I see people breaking the glass panel on their PC case every so often on reddit. I can only imagine people with shattered lcd screens with the Spes case. Nice to see Tryx creating different ideas/designs minus the Octavia, that ones not for me either.
They need to make a cpu cooler screen that gives live mounting pressure readouts to let people better adjust screw mounting tension
