I was shocked to find out that in the south of Brazil there are these small towns that resemble Germany in almost every way. And I was even more shocked to find out that one of those towns has one of the highest twin birth rates in the world.
There are multiple theories to how some random German town in the south of Brazil could be having this many twins but I wanted to find out what the people who live there believe.
So I went all the way out there to make a video about the Mystery of Brazil's German Twins. I hope you enjoy this one.

Germans started arriving in Brazil around 1824. People forget that the first Brazilian empress was Austrian, (Maria Leopoldine von Österreich) and she worked very hard to bring immigrants from Austria and Germany to Brazil and this before Germany even existed as a country.
The south of Brazil is where germans and slavics arrived in South America... That's why Brazil has the second largest germans descendants after USA.
And the first of Italians. São Paulo is the largest Italian city in the world, with more Italians and descendents than Rome. And the largest Japanese one. Etc.
brazil has more lebonese than lebanon ..more portuguese speakers than portugal or any country..most japanese after japan ..and many more surprising things, brazil welcomed all from each continents whenever these people took refuge after their economy crashed, faced war problems, crisis ..Brazil is beautiful, kind and respectul
parabéns pela iniciativa de conhecer melhor o Brasil que é um país continente, um incrivel história de colonização de países europeus também que aqui não é só carnaval, nao é só festa..
Very nice video adam
Thank you!
Nice video buddy cheers
recomendo conhecer Gramado, Canela, São Francisco de Paula, Novo Hamburgo, São Leopoldo entre várias cidades aqui no sul e no Paraná com descendência alemã, polonesa, italiana e portuguesa..
Great video! You're probably the first American who has ever been to this town.
Thanks man. It was such a cool experience for me. I’m definitely down to go back and explore some of the surrounding villages one day
Go back to Germany monsters
Great video !
Did you end up drinking the water ??
Since I don’t have a uterus I figured it would be a waste of holy water
ya and you definitely want nothing to do with Mengeles experiments 😂
Creepy! These towns eerily remind me of the movie "The Boys From Brazil".
Wir sind die guten Deutsch 🇧🇷
There are hundreds of cities that resemble Germany. And also Polish, Ukrainian, Italian and many other ones.

What are you drinking at the end? Tea?

Yes...its Brazil..Brazil is the"World s Capital",no Joke...there is a lot of"Brazils"inside a Single Country.We dont have restrictions about immigration...
In a city in Espírito Santo german is the sdcond language and its teached in school
mas lá no nordeste teve colônia holandesa
As a brazilian myself i can say, it's 100% true that Mengele was in Candido Godói, he was even friend with the mayor in that time. Also, having a doctor in a small town like that in that time was luxury, you can say tell from the Italian town named Antônio Prado, that had 1 doctor for the whole town. Mengele might have done some experiences with pregment womans, but the question is... what did he do?
His people was also in Espírito Santo
Sempre que aparece um alemão por aqui o povo começa a falar alemão e nao para mais kkkk. Mas o Brasil é isso, nao existe o brasileiro, existem os brasileiros. Cada lugar é de um jeito
Mengele died in Brasil
When the "Germans" started arriving in Brazil, Germany wasn't even a country, it was several principalities. German language was banned in the country during the Second World War and a few decades later, this meant that the majority of descendants did not speak German, the few who did speak a dialect called Pomeranian. Brazil also has many descendants of Italians, Ukrainians, Lebanese, Romanians and Japanese.
These families suffer a lot from these stereotypes, the majority came well before the Second World War and those who came during the Second World War were not all N4zis, the majority were victims of N4zism... politically persecuted, etc... Of course they existed those too, but even they don't like their ancestors nowadays.
Aways when these americans show parts of brazil that are not rio or the amazon its aways this bullshit of "this is brazil" put in your mind that brazil is a diverse country
Go back to Germany Brazil hate Germany these monsters
anything that doesn't fit their retarded stereotypes is weird for them
It must be hard to explain Brazil to your peers in the US, even if you got videos to show them🤣🤣
It’s gonna take a lot more videos to start doing so lol
He is Brazilian not American
No passado do Brasil, mal havia hospital, quanto mais estudo w experimentos genéticos 😅
Great video.. you think there are Nazi things going on there?
Send German back to Germany
Not nazi, but they went there to take a look, but they came to my state
