No need for tariffs on cheap drop-shipped stuff: simply repeal China's "developing nation" status with the international postage services that currently grants it practically free international postage. Then all drop-shipped stuff from China becomes $10+ more expensive due to international postage fees.

I'm contemplating a simple life style as a minimalist, just what I need the basics and nothing else for surviving, a smaller house or place to live, just the cloths I need, basic food and that's it.
I'm feeling deep within myself people have gone to far with material good yet no one is happy with their lives. It leads me to think the answer is a much simpler life is the key to contentment.
Am I the crazy one, or is the world crazy and I'm the wiser man?

They do it to funnle USD out from the market (the people and companies) giving a cheaper price with papers, they print themselves, than they should have been paying, if the rate was decided by the market.
It had worked well for them, while the influx of foreign investments and trade was high. Things are changing now, and the same policy brings to lots of issues.
