*A lot of viewers have been real grateful for our videos and have ask if there was a way to buy us a Beer. RUclips now has a ‘THANKS’ button under every video, Just click the button.* 😀 *It’s not required or expected, but it is appreciated. THANK YOU!*
New subscriber here! Found y'all when trying to research for Mallow's Bay and the shipwrecks. Love how your videos flow so well! They're so informative and loving the content! It is such a shame that this place is under historic registry yet there's no easy way to get to there so people can appreciate them. Then again, that's both a good and bad thing. Seeing the vandalism hurts my heart. Thanks for taking us along on your adventure! -Ven
You are welcome Ven and thanks for your comment! We agree with you about vandalism. It's just a shame that some people just don't care about the preservation of history.
Honestly, I would love to see the railroad being rebuilt as a tourist railroad and haul loads of passengers along the former right-of-way. Have the locomotives be restored for display purposes and have them parked in front of a station or next to a parking lot.
These locomotives are in the middle of the wilderness. There is no easy way to get them, you have to bushwhack, snowmobile or kayak to them. They remain on the same tracks they were on inside the engine house when it was burnt down around them.
Hi im just about ready to subscribe love the video . are you aware of any rv camping up that way ? My wifes is in a wheelchair and we are filming a new series Rving with a disabilities and on a budget on our boondocking m
Thanks Jeffery. :) We did this 2 weeks ago, so I don't believe Hermine had anything to do with the winds. That was just Mother Nature making it tough for us to find the trains. LOL
that or find some current operational steam and send the 280 & 460 to north creek branch railroad upstate new york. all they run is diesel like bl2 and other types of diesels
It's much easier by snow sled. & I know someone that found a foot trail from a logging road in their. I'd say your best bet is contacting Nugent camps. They are on the lake & probably know the trail.
Chuck and Cheryl thank you so much for your trips and videos. We really appreciate it. you guys take us places we usually don't go. Do you two travel the rest of the country? again thank you.
Thank you for your comment, we're glad to take you along for the ride in the videos. :) With the new RV we hope to start to spread our wings out a bit, so to speak. The biggest problem we have with doing that is our jobs get in the way of our fun. :) We do have a vacation coming up soon and are discussing where to go and what to do.
Thanks you. We have been compiling a list of places we want to check out for years now. The list is long, but the trains are no longer on it. :)Not sure if you have seen our playlists on the our channel, one is called Unique Hikes, that has well...the unique hikes like this one.
Let me start by saying you make awesome videos. I have family that would have made paper with pulpwood that came off that train. My mother's hole family is from and still lives in Millinocket. It's like home for me as well. I hope to bring my family to the trains this summer and hopefully to the b-52 crash site on Elephant Mountain also.
Thank you for your comment! :) We had been wanting to go there for sometime, so glad we got to see it. It should be a great visit for you seeing how you have family ties to it. The B-52 is a must see if you are in the area. Enjoy!
5:30 Mother nature etc - the way abandoned things get covered with vegetation proves that Earth is young and The Flood really did cover the world about 4,350 years ago. If Earth was ancient and there had been no flood there would be solid fertile topsoil and vegetation over everything - there isn't and so we can deduce that much of Earth has not recovered from being washed clean by the flood. Worms and vegetation are necessary to rebuild topsoil and fertility.
Thank you for turning this video into a needlessly religious statement. I suppose it is too hard to simply enjoy a video without making a religious statement, for those with no control.
and mak the nature trail a camp ground for the boy scouts as a summer camp and closer to the ranger station a winter lodge inn. just some realistic ideas. but i know that trains are not for everyone
Not really sure, possibly because they have been out there for so long, someone at one time did experience the paranormal. All we know is it was a cool adventure! :)
WeRmudfun gotta agree, it does look like a fun hike. It’d be really cool if the trains like moved on they’re own or make some strange noises like whistles or something during the night. That would really give them a reputation. I really wanna go there now.

It was an awesome adventure! 😀
I’m heading there this summer with some friends I didn’t know it was that beautiful
It is very beautiful there, we loved this trip. Have fun. :)
nice video love old trains and tracks
It was a cool find.
One of your best videos yet! Dunno if I'll ever find the trains myself, but if I decide to give it a shot, I have a visual guide.
Thanks! :) Finding the trains were not as hard as getting to them, trust us. LOL

But it still would've been nice if they were restored for public display if that'll be possible.
Yes it would. :)
Maybe someday in the future that might happen. Maybe.
ryanthesteamman: likely: war is not to far off. All overseas shipping will cease. Bakken Oil will be quarantined: hello coal.

Mainers vlog
We stayed at Pine Grove Campsite for the week that we were up there.
WOW!!!! The video we've all been waiting for! Good sound effects and still shots. You guys should have had Dramamine for that kayak ride!
It took a while to get this one made, then again it took a while to get to these trains too. LOL
Beckie Jani
Great find! I think the waves were thanks to Tropical Storm Hermine. Another entertaining and educational video.
Thanks Jeffery. :) We did this 2 weeks ago, so I don't believe Hermine had anything to do with the winds. That was just Mother Nature making it tough for us to find the trains. LOL

That was fantastic! As was the ice cave adventure. How do you guys find out about all these places?
Thanks you. We have been compiling a list of places we want to check out for years now. The list is long, but the trains are no longer on it. :)Not sure if you have seen our playlists on the our channel, one is called Unique Hikes, that has well...the unique hikes like this one.
I call Bullschitt ... You can see the road by the trains ... Lol 😆 But boating is fun ...
There is no drivable road all the way to the train. At least not when we went.

So wait where is this???
Way up in northern Maine.

I suppose it is too hard to simply enjoy a video without making a religious statement, for those with no control.
5:25 'Mother Nature' is a religious but misleading statement - I merely set out the truth.
Idiot, try to science once in a while, you might learn something
Stuff like this makes me very curious. I feel like i need to see this.
It was on our bucket list for a long time, well worth the visit.
*Check out ours new Kayaks...PakAyak!* ruclips.net/video/JS_edGCr-f4/видео.html
I was there in the 70s!
Very Cool! We would have loved to had seen it in the 70's! :)
moe Howard of the three stooges was born in 1897. and teddy Roosevelt's became president in 1901. in upstate new york at north creek branch railroad
It is sooooo cool to see we where out their on snowmobile on 2/10/18 & hike out on 10/13/18.
So cool to see any time. :)
and mak the nature trail a camp ground for the boy scouts as a summer camp and closer to the ranger station a winter lodge inn. just some realistic ideas. but i know that trains are not for everyone
A terrible end for the trains
Yes it was. It is an incredible site to see.
@@WeRmudfun Wouldn't mind sponsoring some restorations if wasn't for being on fixed income.
Rest,in pieces allagqsh locomotives.
that cool
This place was way cool. It had been on our bucket list for quite a long time.
Hike Mount Jefferson and Mount Clay and Mount Washington
last week that was fun
We love that hike. Hoping to get back up Washington sometime soon.
i could see both engines as wood burners
Why do they call them the ghost trains if they don’t have any paranormal properties?
Not really sure, possibly because they have been out there for so long, someone at one time did experience the paranormal. All we know is it was a cool adventure! :)
WeRmudfun gotta agree, it does look like a fun hike. It’d be really cool if the trains like moved on they’re own or make some strange noises like whistles or something during the night. That would really give them a reputation. I really wanna go there now.
Hey Crush, maybe they do in the dark of the night...plan an overnight. LOL You will not be disappointed to see everything there.
WeRmudfun sounds promising. I think I just might do that now. :D Thanks for the suggestion dude. 😃👍
A shame they let those trains rott away there.
Engine No. 1 is the oldest type of engine
Cool, thanks for the info. :)
I've got to rent two Hercules heavy lift helicopters I'll get those two steam trains out of those woods or die trying
Good luck with that. LOL
