2024 Geely Binyue Super Power Edition in-depth Walkaround
The Geely Binyue Super Power Edition is built on Geely’s B-segment Modular Architecture (BMA) platform and is positioned as a compact SUV. While the new model's dimensions have not yet been announced, the current model on sale measures 4330 mm in length, 1800 mm in width, and 1609 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2600 mm.
The new edition will be powered by a 1.5TD direct injection engine, paired with either a 5-speed manual transmission or a simulated 8-level continuously variable transmission (CVT). This engine delivers a maximum power of 93 kW (126 hp) and a peak torque of 152 Nm, with a WLTC fuel consumption rate of 6.89L/100km. For comparison, the current model features a 1.5TD direct injection engine coupled with a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission (7DCT), enabling it to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 7.6 seconds and achieving a WLTC fuel consumption of 6.35L/100km.
In terms of design, the Super Power Edition retains the appearance of the current model. The front face features the Super Power Storm design language, characterized by layered grilles with a smaller grille on top and a larger trapezoidal grille below. The vehicle is equipped with silver 17-inch multi-spoke aluminum alloy rims.
