This is probably more my problem than yours... but seeing anyone listen to this with only one side of their headphones over their ear makes me feel some type of way. 😅 Either way, always good to see another person hear Rush for the first time. This band has one of the best drummers/lyricists that has ever walked the earth. All three of them genius in their own way.
Welcome to Rush - three elite-level musicians from Canada. They had a 40-year run with 19 studio albums. Lots of good music here. Try The Spirit of Radio next. Cheers!
One of the more gifted drummers in contemporary music , Neil Peart. Bassist/keyboardist/vocalist Geddy Lee and guitarist Alex Lifeson Very talented 3 piece band out of Canada
Welcome to Rush! Three master musicians from Toronto, Canada who had a 40 plus year career. Geddy Lee Vocals, Bass and Keyboards Alex Lifeson guitar, mandola and later keyboards Neil Peart drums, percussion and main lyrist. Unfortunately Neil Peart passed from brain cancer in January of 2020. This was filmed at Le Studio in Morin Heights, Quebec Canada Just an FYI, you need to use both sides of the headphones when listening. You will miss alot if not. Please check out YYZ live in Rio Digital Man from the Snakes and Arrows tour Working man live in Cleveland Cheers 🇨🇦
Greatest band of all time lyrically and musically!!! Try driven, half the world, big money, lock and key, mission, marathon, Animate, cut to the chase, Xanadu live 81,red barchette, YYZ live in Rio spirit of radio, freewill, natural science,
You're missing things in songs with your headphones on only one ear. You need to have BOTH on as some songs have changes from ear to ear and instruments only playing in one ear. An example is Queen Bohemian Rhapsody. Parts of the song go from ear to ear and back and forth. With one headphone on, you missed half the song. Wear BOTH from now on so you don't miss things you should be hearing.
The time signature shift is common with RUSH. I saw them 11 times. Once right behind the stage so I got to watch him work. 2112 is their Masterpiece😎 Just realize you're about to go down a rabbit hole so deep you may not want to get back out. That's how great they were. RIP Neil you were the GOAT Neil was also the lyricist
You need to see the Best Live Performance of all time RUSH - Xanadu - Live In Montreal 1981 (2021 HD Remaster 60fps) Alex Lifeson - 6 string guitar, 12 string guitar, pedal synthesizer, volume pedal; Geddy Lee - Vocals, bass guitar, 6 string guitar, foot pedal synthesizer, electric piano/synthesizer; Neil Peart - Lyrics, Drums, orchestra bells, tubular bells, wind chimes, crotales, timbales, timpani, gong, temple blocks, bell tree, triangle, and melodic cowbells. Based on Kubla Khan (Xanadu) by Samuel Taylor Coleridge Coleridge composed his poem, ‘Kubla Khan’, in a state of semi-conscious trance either in the autumn of 1797 or the spring of 1798 and published in 1816. The whole poem is pervaded by an atmosphere of dream and remains in the form of a vision. The vision embodied in Kubla Khan was inspired by the perusal of the travel book, Purchas His Pilgrimage. Coleridge had taken a dose of opium as an anodyne, and his eyes closed upon the line in the book, “At Zanadu Kubla Khan built a pleasure palace.” But this opened his creative vision, and the poem of about 200 lines was composed in this state of waking dream. On being fully awake, he wrote the poem down. The theme of the poem is unimportant. It describes the palace built by Kubla Khan, the grandson of Chengis Khan, the great rule of central Asia. ruclips.net/video/2byjJkN_nVY/видео.html
put both headphones on when listening. the music vibration moves from ear to ear. better experience. AND I so appreciate your appreciation for music. peace ✌
Rush is best listened to with both headphones on. Two more suggestions for your next reaction: YYZ Live In Rio; Working Man Live In Cleveland. Cheers from Toronto! 🎤 🎹 🎸 🥁 🎸 🔥 🔥 🔥
The studio was called le'studio and was located in Morin heights Quebec."I also would strongly suggest listening to the song Xanadu buy rush if you really want your mind blown.🙂
The next time someone tells you "Hey man, I made a beat on my computer" and shows you a basic 3-4 or 4-4 time signature as if they just invented something new... you can introduce them to Neil Peart... the master of polyrhythms and complex time signatures and shifts.
Put both ears in, you're missing so much - there's this thing called stereo, a bit 'back in the day' for you maybe but you're not listening properly, hearing, but not listening..
Are you deaf in the right ear? Otherwise you are missing more than half of the performance, the stereo effect is important and essential, to get it right.
🤔 Waited until the end to see what I'd do. 👍🏿 Liked the video but didn't Sub. 🤷🏿♀️ We'll see if you pop up under Rush Reaction search again, if so 😏 please use both Headphones or 🤦🏿♀️ what's the point of having them and making a big deal about it. 🤗 Anywho..... 🥰🐰
One cup on the ear? Really? When you listen to rock n roll put the headphones on the right way. You can get away with it listening to rap or hip hop cuz there's nothing to either one. Your missing a lot doing it the hood way.

And he was a little too far south...Kentucky or Arizona yeah ok
I agree. No understanding of “stereo”.
Agreed! He's missing out on soo much and he doesn't even know it. There's different sounds coming through each headphone. 😔

Wanna see a live rockstar performance ? Check out "muffin man" Frank Zappa.
Then listen to "black napkins" same artist..
I'm imagining how i felt the first time I heard NWA or Public Enemy, and it was an emotional experience. Seeing his reaction to this is the same.
The studio was in Quebec. :D

You’re only getting half
The story…
Try subdivisions , analog kid , limelight
What's the point of wearing headphones if you're only got it on one ear??
Don't wear 1 side of headphones completely defeats the purpose of wearing them🙄🙄🙄

🙋🏿♀️ Question: Why only 1 ear covered? They are called HeadphoneS 🤭😁 not Headphone. 🤗 But thanks anyway for the Rush reaction. 🥰🐰
Oh how I wish you wore your headphones on BOTH ears. You're missing out bc there's different sounds coming through each headphone. Try it. 🙏
I just had to listen to what the young black man says about the way it is. Simple aint it?

I agree you miss half the music, makes the reaction invalid
I was going to say the same.
@@Logistical_NightmareTOTALLY agree. I wanted to subscribe. But then I noticed that. Invalid reactions. 😢
