It looks like the mistake he made was dividing by 24 a second time, which you correctly identified. He also generalizes the "3/4 of a million dollars, by 7am" figure, which is $750k; more accurately, it's $603,773.97 (7 hours * $86,253.42 hourly pay = $603,773.97). Off by $146k. @@mejestic124Biden was VP under Obama, he sure as hell knew what we was getting himself into when he ran for president. And the security for the VP isn't that much different, so he must be ok with it, otherwise he wouldn't have run after having been VP for 8 years already.
Obama once said in an interview that he gets a phone call at 7 am that wakes him up.
And they call Biden 'sleepy'!
“Wakey wakey baracky”
Barack and Reggie were up til 3am though.
Someone buy that man an alarm clock.
Wendover is so good. Impartial, informative, and always engaging. High quality content produced by independent (obviously a team not just an individual) journalists are incredibly valuable in a modern digital world
Loved this! Such a great work and insight.
I don't think I've ever been this early to a new Wendover video.
Same holy shit
same
I just so happened to not have a class for the period and accidentally clicked my notifications and saw this video. Good day so far lol

Nope
When're we getting: 'A week in the life of Wendover Productions' 🍻
Over a year ago (Nov21) , they uploaded (to Nebula) a behind-the-scenes video relating to the “Ocean Shipping & why it’s broken” upload
Good video. Does what the title says and more, though it doesn't really finish up the week but we get why that title was chosen. Good graphics as well. Clear upgraded the way you guys do videos now.
The budget of the us presidency is almost 8 times the annual budget for all greek universities💀💀
Pocket change when you understand how massive the US economy is
Year after year, Wendover Productions has consistently provided high quality professional videos that are really interesting. Great work!
Wendover used to be good. Now it's almost identical to Leftist mass media trash. I mean imagine him doing this same video while Trump (a much more dynamic human being regardless of politcs) was in office.
@@sparklesparklesparkle6318you say that like it’s a bad thing
@@sparklesparklesparkle6318 3:59 was a rough one to stomach. I think he just does it to not get censored. Also it's probably a whole studio with investors. But their content is still good I just lost all respect for them bending the knee to the commies, tearing down America.
This has got to be the best Wendover video yet, amazing work guys!
how to sell your soul for cash by Wendover Productions
8:41 - You may be cool, but you'll never be "Unfolding an uzi from your jacket to protect the president while wearing wingtips" cool
And with a snarl on his face that just says "I'm gonna getcha, fucker," no less
Some error in calculating the cost per minute? It's 60 minutes per hour, not 24!?
$755,580,000 for 2023, which was not a leap year, so that's 365 days = $2,070,082.19 per day. In the video, for some reason he's off by a few dollars ($2,070,079). He lists $86,254 as the hourly pay (we're dividing by 24 here); it should be $86,253.42 (only off by $1.42). He then lists $3,593 per minute, which is grossly off (should be $1,437.56; we're dividing by 60 minutes here). I also disagree with the usage of the word "before" when referring to when the president wakes up, which is ambiguous. He obviously means "by the time".
@@Rexvideowow You left out Hunter's coke.
Next video I want is a week in the life of the first cat and all the chaos he’s been up to. As a cat person, I just know he’s probably puked on that Oval Office rug.
As a Pole, I actually laughed out loud when you tried to pronounce Przemyśl 😆 anyway, it was a good try
Hah, same. It's like he was struggling.
Reminds me of Grzegorz Brzęczyszczykiewicz scene xD
So what? You foreigners are mispronouncing English words every single minute and no one cares.
But what about pronunciation of Kiev… I am not Slavic but even in Cyrillic there are 2 vowels there…
That was fantastic Wendover team. I always look forward to your videos, but that one was especially good. Thank you.
Why don’t you kiss him already, or in bidens manner, sniff his hair?
Every day I find out another level to how low humanity can get. Like how apparently people care whether two people order the same thing at a restaurant.
ya it is a bit weird how that one tiny part of this whole video seems to stay in people's minds, including ours as we are now commenting about it.
I know right? I mean they're octogenarians, who've been married for decades, who've probably tried everything that's usually on the menu at an Italian restaurant multiple times, and eventually settled on their current order, something that they can enjoy together.
Is this really that surprising? Sometimes we forget that leaders are people, too.
@@edumazieri i guess it's just how ridiculous it sounds from people that rarely get recommended that kind of sensationalist bs, i guess everyone learnt to ignore it in time (i hope)
@@aronseptianto8142 ya but... we are still sort of commenting about it. this kind of thing spreads not just because somebody might find it interesting, but also precisely because it's so absurd that anyone could.
About as dumb as needing to tell the press the president wears aviators. Even more dumb than he actually wears them.
Sleep, lick ice cream and go on vacation.
Lmao with Biden 1. Sleep 2. Sleep more 3. Vacation, 4. Vacation more. 5. Ride bike and fall. Repeat.
How long did it take to make this video? Condensing all these details into a succinct 20 mins video is amazing.
Interesting video! These “day in the life of the president” type of vids always intrigued me
What a fascinating video. Great job. True quality!
This was a great video. I love to hear about the behind the scenes type stuff.
Well done, this video is really brain candy.
I didn't expect anything else.
keep up the good work.
Slight correction at 13:20
The footage shown is of the National Museum of Natural History, NOT the National Museum of American History as stated
Having a Newsmax reporter sit next to an Al Jazeera reporter is so hilarious
This was really interesting. Great video!
The video WE NEED:
A Week in the Life of a US President's Son
It just be biased like this one without any facts or evidence
@TheRangerman00 So according to you, literally nothing in this video is true? Nothing at all?
So happy to see a wendover video so soon after being posted! :)
The sequel to “how the president travels”
It still blows my mind that people were allowed/able to break into the CAPITOL of our country...
This was very interesting. Thanks!
Exceptionally well done. Thanks!
Lol Sam I appreciate your Polish pronunciation. I’ve been coaching my girlfriend how to say my family’s names for years, give me a shout if you ever need to get through another one. Cousin Grzegorsz feels your pain.
What kind of dark arts do I need to master to make sense of the Polish language? Thanks in advance
8:48 all those professional hi-tech cameras and couple guys just pulls out their phones to record
Pebble beach.. I see, I always wondered about that shot and the lawn the were wearing out lol
That has to be the best wendover video in a while.
11:02 The front row is filled with some of the biggest Media organizations in the world and then there's just Helen Thomas
The woman was alive for 10 administrations.
Then it turned out she was a massive racist and they kindly let her retire.
@@NoUploadJustComment that’s right I totally forgot about that. She was definitely not afraid to speak her mind.
Poor Sam trying to pronounce Przemyśl Główny
"Having landed here", he says, trying his hardest to avoid having to try and pronounce Rzeszów-Jasionka
I mean if you romanize it isn't THAT bad it's still hard to say "Pzhemuhshl Gwuvnuh".
I hear Polish is actually pretty easy to read if you are a Polish speaker, unlike English that still doesn't make sense half the time when you speak English. However, Polish just looks like gibberish if you speak English lol
@@rubiconnn Polish does have some unusual letter combinations but the language is phonetical so if you just sound out the word slowly you get 90% there.
I didn't know two years ago that the place of my residence would be the centre of utmost attention for a seemingly endless period of time. That's humbling, not gonna lie, but also, by the time reconstruction after the victory ends, exhausting to the extent of being glad we got at last left alone for a minute. I needn't even switch the language of content here since I know it'll be about my local events (though toponyms will be ridiculously butchered in English).
Uncle Joe will be remembered for a long time here, Borys Johnson"-iuk" will be greatly respected and memed through. The folks of The Free(-er) West will be granted a jesture of gratitude at every courner of the Ukrainian locale, undeniably!
And, as well, thank you mate :)
Stay safe and good hunting!
Stay safe and I hope to visit one day!
Thanks, awesome video.
4:03 that was the most objective way you could have possibly described it, well done
At 0:45 president teleports from gym to his bedroom...
The raw, unfiltered power of dark brandon, clearly lol
Lol math fail @ 1:09. Your calculated rate per minute ($3,593) is wrong, because you erroneously divided the hourly figure of $86,254 by 24 again instead of by 60. The real figure is ~$1,438/minute
Very good catch. I did it and came out with the same number.
+1 internet for you
Weirdest things was people riled about ordering of same dish :D I mean come on, isn't it normal?
Yes, yes it is. Just shows what a nice 180 this is compared to 4 years ago when we had a fire-hose of controversies every day.
@@tomsko863true. And even despite the much more difficult geopolitical situation.
Except no one was, they showed literally two articles. During this period the discussion was about the Ohio train derailment.
Literally the day before this dinner Trump announced his visit in the middle of the following week. So the press at this time was largely discussing the train derailment (which like usual was largely useless bickering).
Cool transition to the ad

Struggling to get up stairs
Holy shit! The president doesn’t wake up until 7am? And he works from home? Damn!
I think its important the presidents get good sleep, effects of sleep-deprivation are often glossed over in favor of glorifying over-working. And assumably the decision-making of the president is pretty important, not to mention the way they look in those before-and-after shots.
tbf, the president is on-call 24/7
