    Thank you for the review! It was so hard finding one that wasn’t sponsored or completely dismissive (as in not even trying it). We ended up using one for our personal dog for Sanis/paws in between grooms, and it’s worked fine for the whopping hour a year I need it.

      Yes! for that, I think they are great. After trying them out on multiple dogs though, I struggled to find a coat type they really worked on except a super thin coat. I tried to be honest and give them a chance since they had such high reviews. For the price though, they're great for sani/paws.

    I've only got a few seconds onto your review, and the negativity sent me to the comments section.
    I have these clippers, and have used them on a variety of coats. Without a doubt Wahl for example, would be a better choice, for various reasons. But, these are pretty good clippers, especially for the price. They're sharp, quiet, long battery life, sufficient length attachments, easy to clean... Definitely a great 1st or second set for someone.
    Regarding the comb. What are you doing that would cause you to break them in a day? 😲 Poor dog on the other end!
    Anyway...For those considering these clippers, the over all reviews on them matters, much more than just the opinion of one person. As any reviews would.

      I tried to be unbiased and say what they did work well for and what they didn't. Sorry you didn't like my opinion but at the end of the day, we're allowed to have opinions.
      Regarding a broken comb, no idea what you're referring to but I've never broken a comb on a dog.

      @@MikiDoodleMom oh LOL my JOKE saying "I would break it in a day" my combs often go flying off my table and it didn't look to be high quality so I was JOKING saying it would probably break in a day, guess I needed to add in "from flying off my table multiple times". You've got to lighten up.

    • @MikiDoodleMom

      @@cleanclipcolor I don't have to do anything. The comb is stainless steel, made no different than a like combs. If you're breaking your combs this way, that's not a comment for a review then, is it? I'm sure dropping clippers could cause them to break too. No? Anyway. What I saw of your review was unjustifiably negative. Sure, these clippers aren't top of the line, but for the price, they're pretty decent. I've used them to groom a variety of coats and styles, with no issues whatsoever. The blades are super sharp which is a must for any worthwhile brand. Like any clippers, maintaining them is paramount to their performance and longevity. Maybe you covered all of these point in your review.

      @@MikiDoodleMom I actually talked a lot about what these clippers ARE good for. Sorry you do not like my review, but I can't please everyone :) I'm glad they work well for you but they would never hold up for me with the amount of dogs I do and the lengths they can do are extremely limited. Hope you have a great day!

    I have 3 lhasa apso and oneisall work fantastic. Better than my noisy andis £330 clippers actually. It seemed like you had made up your mind not to like them before even trying them. That's how it came across. For information. I won't be joining your community, not because you were negative before you began, but because you whined about every aspect before trying. Having said that. Good luck in everything you do x

      That's great they are working for your dogs, I tried them on multiple breeds/coat types and they just couldn't perform as well as my a5 style clippers, I could see them doing well for home groomers with thinner coated dogs but for thicker coats professional grade clippers are the way to go.

    Very informative - i wish i had seen this before i bought them. My instructions say it's not recommended for the face.... uh, that's what i bought it for! Then to see it doesnt perform well on a doodle in your video only adds to my disappointment in that i have a poodle. The only plus for me is the clippers cost very little money. I will invest in a higher end one soon. I got rid of my andis after my old dogs passed thinking they would be my last dogs at my age. Now i have a sweet although squirmy poodle pup.
    Anyway, thanks for the video!

    • @cleanclipcolor
      @cleanclipcolor  Год назад +1

      Glad it helped! They are great little clippers for smaller jobs, it say they aren't recommending for the face because how short the blade is, if your dogs skin isn't used to going that short it could get irritated. You could give it a short on the face with a guard on though. I didn't mind them for sani/pads, maybe a little touch up but I wasn't super impressed with them for a full body haircut.

      @@cleanclipcolorSince you answer comments unlike most others, is it harmful to use the blade between their paws? I have used a tiny thing I bought just for that area and can’t find it anywhere. So I don’t want to hurt my pup if I decide to groom her. Thanks!

      @@BS-dq1kz not at all and these clippers would be great for that! They do have some good uses, and I tried to highlight what they COULD do. Use them without the guard, and just lightly go over the pads, almost making like an X, don't dig in. I actually have a video on my channel demonstrating how I do pads :)

    Isn’t this clipper meant for home use? Of course it’s not going to be to a professional groomer’s standards. Your review is pretty bias since you would not be using it at home and you are a professional groomer. As a mom who grooms her babies at home, my boys do much better this this than the Andis professional corded griming clippers I paid 4x’s the amount for.

    • @cleanclipcolor

      My intent with the review was to give an honest review on what these clippers work well for and they don't work well for. Yes they're meant for home use but that doesn't mean they'll work well at home for EVERY dog. I'm glad they work well for you but not everyone has that much luck with them.

    Which clipper should I get for a Goldendoodle? He has a right poodle type hair and I have the Andis Pro 5 speed and it is hard to get through even with a new blade drive in it. I moved to an area where there is no groomer taking new doodles near me so been grooming him myself for almost 2 years so any guidance would be great.

    • @cleanclipcolor

      Hi there! Have you viewed my other two videos on clippers? Your clippers should work great. Your issue may be in your prep work OR you're trying to shave THROUGH matted hair. If the hair is at all matted and you're unable to brush it out, you need to use a shorter blade so you get UNDER the matting. I have a video as well on fluff drying a doodle after the bath, it shows how to get a nice prepped coat for clipping. You want to bathe first then completely dry your dog with the dryer and preferably brush while drying once about 80-90% dry. This will help straighten the coat and make sure you have any tangles out, this will give you the nicest cut. Also, check your blades, your blades COULD need sharpened. I'd suggest buying new blades of a higher quality brand like Artero, Buttercut, Furzone or AGS rather than using Andis/Wahl blades.

      If you're on Facebook, there is a FABULOUS group called "DIY Doodle Grooming" its the group I originally started making these videos I have on my channel for! Check it out, there are TONS of great tips there and lots or professional groomers like myself are apart of the group to help out.

    A groomer dislikes a grooming product designed for people to skip the expensive groomers and DYI at home. This is not a good or unbiased review. Negative tone from the get-go. And how do you break combs in a day? I worry about your grooming skills.

    • @cleanclipcolor
      @cleanclipcolor  5 месяцев назад

      It was sarcasm, but they do go flying off my table multiple times a day. It just didnt feel high quality. Sorry you don't like an honest review on a clipper. Just because someone isn't a professional doesn't mean they should buy cheaper non professional grade tools and expect them to work as good. I actually give owners grooming lessons so they can groom from home themselves and post a ton of videos to help DIY owners. My review has nothing to do with me not wanting owners to "skip the expensive groomer" it's showing the difference between lower quality and higher quality clippers so owners can make a more informed decision before investing.

    I do not ever lift my dogs back legs like that !!!! You literally just lifted the dogs legs so quick and like jerked them up .... sad !!!!!! And the 1st dog did not appreciate how you did their back end.other then that... good review of the product.STOP JERKING THE DOGS LEGS SO ROUGHLY WHEN YOU LIFT THE BACK LEGS.. SAD !!!! IF I SAW YOU DO THAT TO MY DOG. IT WOULD NOT BE GOOD FOR YOU. TOTALLY WRONG HOW YOU JUST LIFT, JERK AND THE LAST DOG THROWN COMPLETELY OFF BALANCE !!!!

      I promise, I never am actually jerking or rough. If I was dogs wouldn't love coming to see me and beg to get on my table. Sorry it appears that way, but I promise, I'm not.

    • @cleanclipcolor
      @cleanclipcolor  Год назад +2

      Also, the dogs would be FIGHTING with me if I was being as rough as you're accusing me of being. The dogs are perfectly fine and content with how I'm handling them. Did you ever hear one yelp? Or act like I'm actually hurting it? No. A lot of dogs I start to lift their leg and they know the routine so well they finish lifting it for me which can give it a snap up look.
