      if there is no running water there can be no flush toilt.Do they have an outhouse or a chemical toilet as she has never mentioned the sanitary arrangements.

    • @cynn3367
      @cynn3367 5 лет назад +3

      @@seeifficare I had the same question. Plus little details such as: how does she have a bath? Heating water and filling a tub is one thing but emptying it could be a back breaker. And why did no one think to add a chimney cap so the rain doesn't come down directly on the fire...and how cold are those floors in the winter time, I see no rugs...

    My Dad grew up in the house his Father designed and built 4 rooms Kitchen and living room and 2 bedrooms upstairs. The wood for the house came out of the woods on his land. I've never heard the term vernacular architecture before. I just knew I grew out of my grandfather's house when I was about 12 because he only made the doorways taller than him. lol

    Watching May 2020. This is the fifth video I have watched about Margaret and her life. I started with the 1992 video. I too wonder about the bath and toilet and sanitation for the cottage?
    As far as I know Margaret is still alive and well and living in her home in 2020. 👏🏻 Thank you Margaret for sharing your life and for those that added the videos to RUclips so people like me in Australia could learn about her life. As many of us spread across the globe, I have Irish heritage and wonder about how they lived many years ago. Many Blessings. x

    Margaret lives in the country. You might be able to take a taxi to her house. Margaret at Market House in Blacklion has the details. Blacklion is across the bridge from Belcoo and an easy walk. The area is rural, and it is best to rent a car or bring one with you.

    Thank you very much.. I just feel her life is amazing I have watched Al her videos what people have put on youchube. So is she still having visitors. And I have never been to Belcoo and was thinking off having a little holiday at Belcoo depending on the Corner virus. I have wonted to meet Margaret Gallagher for tree year's now. Can I ask what is public transport like in Belcoo and how to get there when arriving in Ireland. I live in Newcastle Upon Tyne and love travelling and always wanted to go to Ireland and Belcoo and see all the thing's Margaret talked about. It would be brilliant and to meet her to would be lovely. So do you make an appointment with someone like you. I am thinking September or October. Cheers Neil
