I can not stand when interviewers purposely try to make any candidate look incompetent. When you ask the candidate to tell you step by step what their plan is for a certain topic, you, yourself, look a fool. This is twofold. One, they are not kings/queens. They can not just walk in and tell everyone how things will go without working through checks and balances. Second, even in the areas where they command, you can not expect someone to know their plan when they do not have all the puzzle pieces. Hence, Chase stated he would have to meet with his joint chiefs.
