I finally returned to play smash, after several months and honestly this tutorial is helping me a lot to improve quickly, I feel that I am slowly recovering my skill level I had in the past.
Great tutorial, the GMB combos are scary. The only thing that’s sort of hard to follow is your movement, especially when z-dropping for combos into aerials. I think reducing the speed to show exactly what’s happening would have been helpful. Thanks for the video, it’s hard to find updated guides for MM
So, I'm like an intermediate Mega Man and I'm looking to level up. Would you be able to explain or at least point me in the direction of what Drifting, B reverse, and Reverse C stick is? I'm lost on those, thanks in advance!
I can't believe your doing this with a pro controller. I found consistently directing the metal blade at will is hard, might just be missing the fast timing required.
Can you irar z drop metal blade by dashing forward-->flick control stick back -->shield a jump (at the same time)?? Basically can you irar z drop with the shield + a grab macro,
Hey man love this I struggle so hard with z drops and the pellets could you maybe show us your controller settings on the next video ? I’m curious what you use for jump
Sure but for now I'll just tell you, I play on pro controller X Y are both Jump X is my main jumping button I use Y is just backup Tilt stick High sensitivity Both L buttons are grab and both R are shield Tap jump off/ rumble off Everything else is default
You set c stick to tilt attack If you're facing left then you do an uptilt with the cstick up & a little to the right then it'll do the reverse cstick uptilt If on right side slightly to the left and it'll do it
I was having trouble doing it unconsciously at the end of a lot of combos while labbing, and I've found that flicking the left stick diagonally either during descent or as I touch the ground just before the c-stick input makes me more accurate. I also tried with pressing A at the right moment but it often transitions into a smash attack. Still can't pull it off in a match, though
@@jimmydjomo1767 yeah, same here. Wish I was able to pull it off consistently enough to do it in a match, but i'd be dead meat everytime I fail, so it's usuallt not worth it.
My crush: hey! what are you studying?
Me: megaman engineering

Yeah just not optimal because it's a rng setup with metal blade disappearing randomly, cool to see tho

Faster, Keep trying you'll get it
Just remember an amateur does it till they get it right, a pro does it till they can't get it wrong

@@YUMEGAMAN Can you go into specifics? Like button layouts and sensitivity? Thanks for the video!
how do you do a reverse c-stick uptilt?
