Found a brand new Lady Buxton wallet cream and green Emerald in an old suitcase at the bins. I think it sold for $48 and the review I received was absolutely brilliant!! She had one in the 60s and absolutely loved it and saw the one I found and she couldn't resist it. Was a really fun sale. ❤
My small hometown had a Ben Franklin and we always called it The Dime Store, too. We also had an A&P. That brings back fond memories of my grandmother taking me to both places. ❤ (southern Illinois..)
Love the Easter tabletop blow mold. When Robert got to talking about 5 and 10 cent stores it brought back fond memories of McCrory's which was the store my family shopped at here in Florida.
Kingsport does still have a Ben Franklin! Great finds as always. We never travel north to source, we always end up going South. As a kid we always went to Pennsylvania for my mom to source, but I have never been any further north than that.
Hi Rebel & Robert. I love your channel. My friend told me about you so I looked you up and I now binge watch all of your videos. I wanna thank you for encouraging me to start reselling again and giving me ideas on the good stuff to buy. I stopped reselling about 4 years ago when my mom told me I needed to. Because the last time she was at my house she seen my ebay and mercari room stacked with totes and she considered me a hoarder and told me to have a huge yardsale and sell it all. So I did. Mothers know best right? lol. Well my mom passed away 3 years ago and I had to move in here and put my stepdad on hospice a year ago. He passed a couple weeks later and now I am living in my moms house that she lived in for 25 years and my grandmas lived here for 25 years before that. I'm pretty sure THEY were the hoarders lol. I never even noticed my whole life how much stuff was here. My mom was a crafter and quilter and so was my grandma. I had another big yardsale and got rid of most of all that stuff but cant part with the important sentamental stuff. Anyway....I love going to the bins in indy. I will probably venture out and go to different bins like you guys do in different states. I also have bought pallets and yes I am addicted to buying storage units Robert lol. I made alot of money on those in my yardsales. People love storage unit stuff. And last but not least....My Dad was the manager at A&P in the city I was born in in Illinois. He managed grocery stores my whole life growing up and I ended up working for him at an IGA here in Indiana when I graduated high school. Sorry this is so long but when I watched this video all of this just came to mind and I wanted to let yall know I appreciate you :))
Dime stores! Woolworth, McCrory & Ben Franklin were in Northern Wisconsin. A&P grocery store with the Eight O'Clock coffee grinder at the check-out counter! Also had a Piggly Wiggly.
I love all the information on plush that I learn from your channel. You are so right it’s so nice to go thrifting with other resellers. We all learn from each other. This community is so supportive and helpful 😊
I have a sleigh bell strap that went around my pony when we went out on the pony cart/sleigh when i was a kid/ teen. They are hanging up in our garage.
Jelly Cat was a new to me brand when I started watching your videos and have since found one. It was a smsll black and white cow and it was so cute I was tempted to keep it but I did list it. It hasn't sold yet but I listed It.
I wish I lived closer so I could meet yall!!! I so enjoy your videos. I learned so much from you. Loveys!! Learned that from you ! And sell them regularly.
We're planning to be traveling and sourcing over the coming years. We'll announce where we're going to be so we can meet up with people Hopefully we'll be in your area sometime. :)
At goodwill yesterday I found 1993 lamb chop curtain valance I looks like it anyway it was only $2 so after I was it I'll try to do some research and I have a couple of lamp chop plush
CT is definitely a great place to thrift! Hopefully will get to meet yall next time! Any CT people want to get together sometime let me know! The most adult interaction I get most days is the two minutes at the post office counter lol.
That would be fun. :) We've stopped there before and probably will again at some point going to Indy or to visit Robert's family. We'll talk about it in a video before we go so you'll know.
The Shari Lewis dog is Hush Puppy, two separate words! Be on the lookout for Charlie Horse too. ❤
We had a Ben Franklin in our small town growing up!

Ben Franklin was here in central Illinois. Penny candy !! Plus we had a Bremers Dime store with penny candy .
We had A&P in North Jersey. I don't remember the ice cream but I remember the smell of the 5 O'clock coffee when they would grind it for customers :)
Growing up in Chicago suburbs we had Grants, Kreske, Woolworths.
Rebel I leave stuff all over too and my husband spends a lot of time trying to find it

I'm so glad this video resonated with you in so many ways. My family for years didn't see reselling as a viable income - until I proved them wrong.
We had a Ben Franklin's up here in Jersey too. Closed long ago in the late 1970s.
Had a five and dime south Florida remember loving it as a kid
Eeewwww....those Barbie babies are creeeepppyyy!
The lambchop dog is hush puppy also look for Charlie horse if you have all 3 they do great
Growing up in Chicago in the 50s. We had Kresege and woolworth for dime stores. Maybe a few independents.
Thanks for your time and video.
Ender's Game is so good! I don't recommend the other books in the series though.
Dime stores! Woolworth, McCrory & Ben Franklin were in Northern Wisconsin. A&P grocery store with the Eight O'Clock coffee grinder at the check-out counter! Also had a Piggly Wiggly.
I find McCrory plush sometimes. I bet they were from that store.
You two make me smile !😂
I had two of the Lamb Chop dog toy plush and they sold pretty quickly for me.
Love your channel! MO still has two Ben Franklin stores. Loved the penny candy when I was growing up. Hope to see you at the bins!
Hello you two 👋👋👋👋👋
We had Neisner's and F. W. Woolworth in Ohio. I think Ben Franklin's was further south in the state.

Rebel! Michele is my mom! She told me about the dinner you had!
You will have to come to dinner the next time we get up there.
Thanks 2 R!!
You two are so much fun to listen to!
Sounds like my husband. Lol
Our discount store was called Newbury's. They started out as a dime store, but not in my time!
There was one here in Rochester Michigan with creaky wood floors!
I remember the creaky floors too!
My husband shares my libby app as well lol
Thank you

Hi you 2
😊
I want to meet up with you guys! I’m in Louisville!
That would be fun. :) We've stopped there before and probably will again at some point going to Indy or to visit Robert's family. We'll talk about it in a video before we go so you'll know.
What's your thoughts on "Stieff" plush. Have you sold it before?
I've only found more contemporary ones. I would love to find a vintage one but might be tempted to keep it.
Hi! When do you typically list the items shown in your videos?
Many get listed within a few days unless they need washed or have some other issue that makes me set them aside - thus the profit pile issues, lol.
👍👍👍
😍
When r u going to MO bins again?
Probably December unless we decide to visit sooner.
I plan on unlisting from Mercari soon because of the Japan issue. It's now so flooded with items frm there as well :(
I think buyers from the US are going to filter those items out and not purchase them. The shipping will take longer and cost more money.
