  • Welcome back to my recovery Vlog! Finally made it back to the gym. Currently just doing a couple leg days a week and getting lots of steps in. Not a whole lot else going on, but hope y'all enjoy this update.

Kat it is good to see you doing well after your sx! I bet you’re looking forward to getting to do PT, and start getting some light ROM going.. I can’t wait to you step on the stage again!!❤💪🏻🏆

How did you make the decision to have surgery vs healing naturally with therapy? Did you ever have a cortisone shot to see if it would help the pain?

@@charlottestaraitis1273 thanks for the question!! The tear was already there, and with my active lifestyle as a bodybuilder and several weeks of PT I decided surgery was the best option. I talked to my surgeon about it realistically, while I could have waited, the tear would have continued to worsen which would have made for a longer recovery time. The pain at the time wasn’t my biggest issue. I wanted to prevent further/worse injury so that I could continue lifting safely and comfortably 💪
