This technique is rampant amongst Japanese players … they are relying on speed of motion to counter their bigger and more physical European counterparts .. not all players are comfortable using this technique but to me it is the most effective of modern dribbling , in the past Robert pires occasionally shuffles in such a way.
@ Kaoru Mitoma has a major degree in dribbling at one of Japan's athletic academies and is today a winger who belongs in the top 10 of best 1 on 1 players, simply by volume of take-ons and success rate of those. I'd be fun seeing how Mitoma would adapt to futsal since he needs vast amounts of space to dribble into; at the same time Kvaratshkelia would wipe the floor with almost every futsal player there ever was. Kvicha is like nothing seen before, but they said that about Leo Messi in 2009.
