Hello Swat, I hope you are doing well! I just bought a Jeep like yours and its engine was washed, and now it has a some problem, I think it could be an electric problem, is there any advise that you can give me for my problem? Thanks!
@yova2002 electrical can be a nightmare… I would start with the basics. Check that the connections on the battery are secure. Then check the fuses, make sure nothing is blown. Then that the battery is good. Then that the plugs and distributor wires are solidly connected. Then that theres no cracked or worn wires in the engine compartment. Once all of that is done, if there’s still issues, it may be time to start reworking the whole electrical system.
Has anyone ever turned on the AC in a Wrangler? Why not just take it out to make it easier to work on the engine?
Probably a good idea. 👍
That’s what I did lol easier to put a new alternator in it lol

Sorry, hard to know. What’s the issue? Starting but stalling out or won’t start?

What plug wires did you use?
I’ll have to look. Think maybe just ones I got on Amazon
