Neos has been operating flights from Italy for a few years now, but recently launched new routes to New York (JFK). There isn't much information about this airline on the internet, so I took the opportunity a few weeks ago to fly with them aboard one of their Dreamliners from JFK to Milan (MXP).

At the beginning of its story, Neos was part of TUI (from 2002 to 2004). There was the TUI logo on their aircrafts

Just flew premium from Milan to JFK with my dog in cabin . Bravo Neos and all the staff on board. Lounge at MXP is very nice . No flat beds but the seats are comfortable . Much better than French Bee to Paris on service and space . The food and service could not had being better. Did not encounter a single staff member that was not profesional and friendly from reservations to arrival. Food was good and well served. Will never do any other airline to Milan is very good for the value. Hurray Neos keep it up! You hook me we are clients from now on.
We are flying Neos JFK, direct to Palermo this summer. Had the same issue trying to pick our seats but customer service by phone was extremely efficient and helpful. We are looking forward to see how Neos is. Thanks for the great video.

Flew Neos from MXP to JFK last December. I had an amazing experience with them, great food, great IFE content and reasonably priced, highly recommend them!

Neos is an Italian airline which started its operations several years ago mostly on charters and then developed as a regular airline. Used to schedule mainly european and mediterranean routes, but recently added long haul flights to China and USA. Overall it is considered a safe and serious carreer.

Great report. I flew Neos a few years back from Milan to Phu Quoc and back when they used to fly there and it was a great flight. The meals were great and the seats were comfy! I hope they continue to expand their network to some new countries.

I heard about this airline though LI Flyer. Congrats on great flight and video! Italy will have to wait until next year for me, I've got other routes planned. I usually stay in Rome, but I might do Milan for a change.

I had never heard of Neos before just now. Really nice review of this new airline. All sorts of new airlines are popping up these days like ITA, who is stunning in it’s all blue livery❤️👍✈️

I took many times Neos for reaching sea resorts in the Mediterranean or for other leisure trips. I remember on longer flights they used to provide blankets and pillows for overnight flights and at least a pillow for long daily ones. That surprised me a little honestly, considering they used to do it even on flights shorter than yours. Regarding food, it was probably among the best in the global aviation, way better than any other big European airline. I really wanna try ITA's new A350, I'm curious to know if they have improved their in-flight services compared to previous Alitalia times.
Thanks for the comment. I was surprised that they didn’t offer blankets, but the cabin wasn’t too cold, so I didn’t mind. I really want to try ITA too.
I flew from rome to jfk with ITA a couple of weeks ago and i have to say that the food was the best i’ve ever had on a plane, the seats were comfortable and they gave us blankets and pillows. Highly recommend
Great video I enjoyed it never seen this airline before I am a Delta airlines fan personally but an opportunity to fly 787 with a configuration that's comfortable I'm all for it 🎉🎉

Good, comprehensive review, as usual 👍. Though I am not familiar with "Neos", it looks like a fairly comfortable and reasonably priced airline. As you mentioned, if you can book ahead, the fares are much better than the legacy carriers. I really enjoyed seeing the retro livery on the American Airlines plane parked at JFK as you were leaving your gate. Sometimes, the old livery is much more attractive to me. Great review! I think I'll give it a shot, its much cheaper than other airlines. Did they end up weighing everyones carry on? I know European airlines can be strict with carryon weight, whereas US airlines don't bother.

Great video! I am going to be taking this flight next month and I feel much better about my purchase now knowing more about this airline. I have a question about the luggage that you can bring on the plane. I am also flying economy and it says that I can bring a hand and unchecked luggage, so would a bookbag count as my hand luggage and a small suitcase count as my unchecked luggage?
Thanks, usually a book bag is considered a personal item because you can fit it under your seat.
